"Oh leave me OUTTA it."

Liz's mouth dropped and she looked over at the well-dressed man in front of her. "No, Jamie! Tell her that you would do the same if you had a guy like Trev."

He turned his head to the woman next to him and bit his lip. "Kimmie, he does have a nice ass."

"Hey, back off." Liz pointed a finger at him playfully.

Liz's sister rolled her eyes and sighed. "Jamie a nice ass does not mean she shouldn't stay for our once in a lifetime family reunion. It's even going to be her birthday." She turned her eyes to her sister. "Liz, everyone misses you. You...you're never around anymore."

"So..you guys were never around when you all were in college." With a crunch she picked up the carrot stick on the side of her salad and chomped into it.

Kim stared at her and shook her head in disbelief. "Liz! My God, Sarah hasn't talked to you in months. Lisa says she calls you all the time but can never get through. Rachel said if you didn't give a damn, she wasn't going to give a damn. Mom is obviously upset about it because she calls me everyday wondering when the last time I heard from you was. And Dad well..."

"Kimberly."

"What? I'm serious. Just because you and him got into that huge argument a year ago, doesn't mean he still doesn't love you. Why don't you ever just...call home? Or something..."

"I'm busy." She shrugged.

"With Trevor."

Liz rolled her eyes and scoffed, obviously annoyed. "Excuse me for being in love. Oh I forgot, you wouldn't know what that was."

"Hey...what the fuck is that supposed to mean Elizabeth Marie?"

She was kinda taken back by her sister's outburst and shot a look at Jamie who was looking rather awkward and then back to her sister. "Why don't you figure it out Kimberly Ann?"

Jamie's arm stretch out, in-between the too. "Girls! Girls! Listen, Kim here is doing well." He cocked an eyebrow at Liz.

Kim gasped with a smile. "Jamie..Shush your trap."

Jamie immediately got excited and started talking with his hands. "No...She met a guy. His name is Micheal and He has a brother named Sean. Oh my god, I'm getting Sean she is getting Micheal. Ohh, they are too cute."

"Is Sean gay?" Liz asked.

Jamie waved it off with his hand. "Yeah, he just doesn't know it yet. I show him how to flow with the rainbow."

After all of them laughed a few minutes at Jamie's flamboyant personality and comments, Liz smiled at her sister knowingly. "Micheal ey?"

"Disney World ey?"

She sighed. "Kimmie..."

Finally her sister just gave in, tired of having to deal with her. "I know, I know. Have fun. Go spend your boyfriend's money, drink champagne, go snorkeling, ride Dumbo, and see Epcot....have fun. But I'm not sticking up for you at the reunion. I'm just staying outta it. Not saying a word."

"Thanks." She smiled genuinely.

"But I do think you need to re-evaluate some things. I mean you aren't married to the boy."

Elizabeth said in a sing songy voice, "Never know."

"Are you guys thinking about marriage? Ohh hell no. You will NOT get married before me." Kimmie gave Elizabeth a disbelieving look.

"No..just, I don't know. I can see my self with him." Liz had a distant smile on her face and a twinkle in her eye. Both people across from her noticed it.

"Oh really?" Jamie smiled.

She sighed and picked at her salad. "Yeah, I mean he's got a mighty load on him. So I'll be supported for...forever. Did I tell you he might be paying for Med. school since mom and dad are being asses about it?"

Kim shot a glance at her friend, as Liz seemed to go on and on about Trevor and his money. "No..you didn't."

"Yeah...Trev's a jewel. And I do mean that. He wants to go pearl diving in Australia with me and find me two pearls to make earrings out of. I told him I wanted the rare black kind ya know? He promised he'd get them for me. He's so awesome."

"Oh..yeah." Jamie's eyes traveled between the two sisters. Liz looked like she was on cloud 9 and Kim look pissed off. He decided to change the subject, quickly.

"Oh my gawd. Did you two hear who was getting married?"

"Who?" Liz smiled.

"No, who?"

He giggled and flicked one of his wrists. "Just you two talking about marriage reminded me. Ok, so I was watching E! Because you know its like my favorite channel. Get this...Britney Spears...AH my girl...and HOTTIE, Sexy Justin Timberlake. Oh my god!"

Kimmie cocked her head to the side in thought. "Are you serious? That's cool. They've been dating for forever."

Jamie spoke animatedly. "Yeah, maybe I can sneak my way into their lives and meet Lance. And then we would fall in love and live happily ever after."

"Doesn't he have a girlfriend?"

Jamie gasped at Kim's statement. "WHAT?? No..."

Kimmie slapped her hand on her forehead and bit her lip. "Yeah..Her name's, oh god. I saw it in a Rolling Stone article. Something with a P maybe?"

"Patricia. But they call her Patty or Brownie."

Jamie and Kim both looked over at the girl in front of them. She was staring blankly at the table, and she looked pale. "When did you get to be Nsync terminologist?" Jamie asked.

With a shake of her head and a glanced at her watch and stood up and threw some bills on the table. "I uh...damn, I gotta get to class. Later guys. I'll call you later Kim."

"Hey, Lizzie you ok?" Her sister asked.

"Yeah, I just realized I'm late. By guys." She kissed her sisters cheek and then kissed both of Jamie.

He smiled at her. "Bye Gurl, we'll go shopping."

"Kay, bye." She waved and walked outta the small cafe, perching her sunglasses on her nose and walking swiftly.

"That was weird." Jamie said, watching her walk past the glass windows.

Kim chuckled. "She's weird."

"She's changed, a lot." Jamie cringed.

"Tell me about it." Her sister just nodded and sighed.

----------

Late that night...

She sat there, staring at the screen. He mouse was so close to pressing Sign On. She cursed herself for never deleting the DMBluvr81 account she had. She never got online now. Never even used AOL. And for some reason, here she was, about to sign on under a name she hadn't used since June of 1999.

The next thing she knew she heard the annoying "welcome, you've got mail" voice. She hadn't even remembered pressing Sign On. Her buddy list was empty, no one was on.

She sighed and went to her mailbox. All of the mail was junk mail. But she made sure of it. She checked every single one, just to make sure he hadn't changed names or...something. But soon every message has been deleted, none of importance.

And she sat there. She had to know. She found the Get Member directory listing. She clicked it and furiously typed "CurlyJay23" She paused and waited her mouse on "Ok." She almost didn't want to know. She wanted to live in her word that he still cared about her.

She wanted to know if he even remembered her.

Elizabeth never understood why he just stopped and broke off all contact with her. She stared at the screen and whispered, "I should have gotten your number." She cursed herself everyday for that simple fact. She would have called. But he had HER number. Why didn't HE call?

She clicked ok.

"There is no profile for [CurlyJay23]."

She whimpered and clicked ok, again.

A sigh fell from her lips and her elbows rested on the desk. She ran her hands through her hair, and held her head in her palms. "Why does it still bother me? Why did you stop Justin? What did I do?"

She blamed herself. She blamed herself for it all.

She blamed herself for obviously annoying Justin to the point of him not wanting to ever speak to her again. All she did was be herself. He was the one who pushed her; he was the one...who kissed her.

"Why did you have to kiss me?" She said a little louder than before. It was rather loud and it echoed throughout her quiet apartment.

She pushed away from her desk, picked up the phone and pressed 1 on speed dial. "Hello?..." She waited and sighed. "Hey Trev...oh, sorry I didn't mean to wake you...I just...I just needed to hear your voice..."

She clicked X on the screen and walked back towards her bedroom, her feet dragged on the cold hard wood floors. She was already in her bedroom when her computer sounded, "Goodbye."

---------

Justin bit his lip when the "welcome, you've got mail" voice was louder than expected. He turned down the volume on his computer and hoped that it hadn't woke Britney in their hotel room. He checked his mail and yawned. He had been so tired trying to do all the interviews and conferences now that him and Britney had told the world they were engaged. He really didn't want it to be publicized but Britney thought it would be good. It would be fun to talk about it to the world.

Justin just wanted it to be him and her. That's it.

He couldn't believe it. In 2 months and a half months he would be married. He was actually thrilled with the idea. He was getting way into this whole matrimony thing. It was exciting and to be with someone that knew him for HIM, just regular ol Justin was the best feeling. She was the only girl he ever had known that had liked him for just Justin. Nothing more.

Well, there had been...Her...

He didn't think about her anymore because she had messed him up. For a good 3 months of the summer of 1999 he spent everyday contemplating what he should do. She had flipped his world around. And she wasn't supposed to do that. Elizabeth Meyers was just supposed to be something to get his mind tired one random night. And then he met her. And from then on...he didn't look at things the same way.

He just had to know. He found the "Locate Member" command on his screen and typed in "Dmbluvr81" and clicked ok.

"Member is not currently signed on."

He frowned.

"Hey J?"

He looked over at the bed that was now stirring with movement. "What babygirl?"

"What are you doing?" Britney have sat up and looked over at the clock.

"I couldn't sleep."

She chuckled and flopped back on the bed. "Get back in bed."

"I'm there."

He closed his laptop and set it to the side. He stood from the small table and crawled up the bed, pulling Britney into his arms. "I love you Britney."

"I love you too Justin."

He smiled. Those 5 words reassured him, it would all be ok.

He had totally forgotten about DMBluvr81 now. Erased from his memory.
