Jazz Music
Something you must see is the Mecca of jazz: Preservation Hall.
At night you can go there to hear jazz music for a very reasonable
price. You can sit on the floor or on an old bench to listen to
several half-hour sessions and stay as long as you like.
You will find at street corners some little bands with very good
jazz: ragtime, blues, spirituals in the tradition of Sidney Bechet,
Louis Armstrong, Jelly Roll Morton and others.
