I just want to say my piece about Napster and Gnutella and all these other file sharing programs , okay? Now admittedly the prices of CDs and such are a total ripoff, and there is no doubt these companies are good pals of the Devil. But if you take an mp3 or whatever of a track you have never bought, sure you probably won't get caught in this life. But thieves of any kind will spend eternity in Hell in the next. But you can still escape. See below.

1. Realise you do not deserve to go to Heaven. "There is none righteous, no, not one" (Rom) "All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" (Rom). Look at God's most basic laws, the Ten Commandments. Have you put other gods first in your life, made a false image of God, used the name God or Jesus as a swear word, failed to keep at least one day of the week special to God, ever dishonoured your parents, hated or murdered, lusted or committed adultery, stolen, lied or been jealous? Even one time excludes you from the perfect standard needed for Heaven. Jesus said you must love God with all your heart and others as much as yourself- be honest, you haven't.
2. Repent- admit you have been wrong, and decide to do things God's way from now on. "Repent therefore, and be converted, so that your sins may be blotted out" (Acts), "unless you repent, you will all likewise perish." (Luke). The Bible says the unbelieving "shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone" (Rev), "and the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever and they have no rest day or night" (Rev), "and these shall go away into everlasting punishment" (Matt)
3. Completely trust Jesus Christ the Son of God has died and taken the full punishment for your sins for you so you will now go to Heaven and has risen from the dead. "For God so loved the world He gave His only begotten Son so that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life" (John), "Christ died for our sins" (I Cor), "suffered once for sins, the just for the unjust that He might bring us to God" (I Pet), "the chastisement for our peace was upon Him" (Isa), "for by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God, not of works" (Eph) "Nor is there salvation in any other" (Acts)
4. Tell others that Jesus Christ is your Lord and Saviour. "If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead you will be saved" (Rom).
5. Keep trusting in Jesus Christ until the end. 6. Many believe baptism by immersion in water is also essential.
