We have a small country saloon that used to be a school house. It became a bar in 1978.

Our computer is set up in an outhouse. Yes, a real outhouse. It is a two seater, that at one time was used by Billy the Kid.

Come in enjoy a beverage of your choice and cruise the net. Or visit one of our local characters.
We offer draft beer, bottled beer, wine from our local winery, or a variety of mixed drinks.

From our local paper:
UNIQUE BAR SERVES UP INTERNET
Although drinking and driving is frowned upon, not much is said about drinking and surfing. Surfing the NET, that is. And beginning today, Luna County residents can do just that in what
local innovator Van Jacobsen believes is the first CyberBar in
New Mexico-Adobe Deli.
"I believe the closest one is in Arizona,"Jacobsen, the owner of the bar, said. The Adobe Deli, which is 10 miles east of Deming,is already known for it's unique style. It's one of the few places in New Mexico that displays a stuffed two-headed calf.
Now,it's also a place where patrons can order a drink and surf the net inside an old wooden outhouse."It just adds a new twist to the place,"he said.
Jacobsen said the outhouse turned cyberstation has a lot of history behind it."Rumor has it that Billy the Kid once used it,"he said. And most recently it was used by Brooke Adams, the actress in"Invasion of the Body Snatchers"and"gas,Food and Lodging,"he said."She mentioned something about the outhouse on the Johnny Carson show."
But people won't be reading magazines in the old outbuilding anymore. They'll be scrolling through a seemingly endless library of online information."I had somebody last night looking up open heart surgery to find out what the risk was,"Jacobsen said."He was doing it for a friend in Italy."
Jacobsen said that he's not sure what he's going to gharge for Internet access, but the first 15 minutes will be free for customers who try the cyberstation during the first two weeks of operation."Then maybe we"ll charge $5 to $8 an hour,"he said.Jacobsen said customers will be able to rent e-mail spaces as well.
The Internet outhouse is only one of many forms of entertainment at the Adobe Deli. The bar also serves pizza and sandwiches, sells more than 100 brands of cigars, has a foosball table, pool table and an antique shuffleboard table. For more information contact the Adobe Deli at 546-0361 or online at [email protected].
