Beyond the years we have traveled
throughout the sands of this world.
Forgotten not to the heart of our own.
Light and shadows both give way
to the direction a heart may go.
We may not see them
but they are there.
To really truly see them hold them close inside a prayer.
A prayer to have the eyes to see
past the pains to come.
A prayer to have the ears to hear
beyond this world of none.
We never remember to open our eyes
and see the light inside.
We never learn to forgive our-selves
for shadows our hearts have cried.
The shadows are dark and deep inside;
they cloud the heart from the mind.
Lies we build inside our mind
create feelings that blind the eyes.
The closer the shadows get to you
the darker becomes the mind.
Till your cage is cast upon the sea,
an immortal moment;
mankind.
Who you are
is who you where
and who you will always be.
The essences don�t change
but flesh can devour the innocents of a man's soul
by the ignorance of what is to be.
Here and forever
threw the next tomorrow our knowledge is
our father�s will.
To see the true definition of light
in essences to touch the soul.
To love beyond the realm of life
is an instinct not a chore.
To willingly cast your life to try to save another:
is the spirit of the heart
and the instinct of
who you are.
