A Letter From One

I have seen a thousand lives',
I understand by the eyes they close.
I choose to be (only for who I am).
I am only one.
A number no one else cares to count,
a nobody to man.
I cannot lie or change belief "inside
to comfort what I do not understand.
I must know the truth for my conscience forces me to wonder.
My conscience is commanded by my faith.
My conscience is very strict, harsh indeed at times.
It condemns me to see the error of my ways.
Only so that my freewill may not be lead astray.
Can the wicked truly see the error of their ways?
How can they have no conscience?
I lay no grief with any man.
My scares are trophies to my conscience (changed by no one).
God blessed me before I was a child.
My true father comforted me,
wept for me,
and held me close.
My true grief is for our fathers heart,
As he watches his children fall.
I pray for the forgiveness of my enemies,
they are his tears too.
They truly don't know their own iniquities.
Yet my judgment lay in their eyes.
I know I am far from perfect.
Only God truly knows perfection.
I see this world threw saddened eyes,
saddened for what is lost.
As man grows wise mankind grows cold.
Ignorance protects their soul.
I grieve threw the coldest of truth'
learning from every scare.
No matter how very much we try
since birth we learn to fall.
Be blessed with light and know the truth,
Still a child in the eyes of God.
Pray for the tears our father weeps,
since the beginning they started to fall.
