Now playing: Nothing Gonna Change my Love For You
"If Kotoko were to leave this time, she would never come back. Is this really all right for you?"
Well, obviously the answer is no... Look at how hard Naoki ran after Kotoko upon discovering the answer. This is the first time we see Naoki chasing after Kotoko instead of the other way round. This reminds me of a scene, which Kotoko told her father one day, she would make the guy run after her instead.
And the link between the two scenes is --- Kotoko. In short, this is the race for love.
(I guess there's no need for elaboration =p)
"It's amazing how we always take people for granted when they are by our side. It is only when we are on the verge of losing them then we realise how important they are to us."
Stay by my side."
...and calls her 'baka' with... ...an affectionate touch to it
Happily ever after ^_^

Some may ask, why two years? What is the significance of the time span?
>>> My personal opinion is that Naoki may be unable to accept Kotoko's sudden intrusion into his life. Thus the time interval can be seen as the 'settling down period' to let him mature out and fit into the new code of life which Kotoko has introduced him. Sometimes, Naoki gives me the impression that he prefers girls who are gentler and perhaps, more reserved. Thus when Kotoko has become more mature and sensible upon her return, he starts to see her in a totally different light. Even Yuki is amazed that she is not the 'clumsy troublemaker' she was before. ^_^
