A long, long time ago...when mountains and rivers laid abreast...when clouds only blew to the commanding howls of the nearby coyote...when there was only dusk, no dawn...
I relaxed beside you, I felt every heartbeat...every breath...I see our future...augmenting our eternal love...
You whispered in my ear, a poem of blue nature...I closed my eyes, and dreamed of actuality...the cold breeze dug under my hair, as I peeked at your figure...your graceful movem
ents tickled my heart...I wanted to hold you, hold you forever...the paddler stroked the waters once more...
No sounds of survival..nor sounds of joy...only harsh calls of the faraway birds, they did complain...I supplanted your warmth, and snuggled under your passion.
..only with you am I ever contented...only with you am I ever satisfied...and only with you am I ever courageous...the paddler stroked the waters once more...

I glanced at the paddler, noticing him for the first time...sweats of fatigue dripped down his grave appearance as he continued paddling for the two young hearts...again....and again...stroking the soft waters...
