| For a time i was a Fly-Fishing designer & inventor for HUFFishing Ltd and then self employed as Huff Gamefishing Products & Angling Workshops i got as much fame as anyone could ask for, alas no fortune !. I did many game fairs, county shows and visited fishing clubs giving talks and demonstrations. I did however achieve 20 magazine reviews for the products i invented / designed and developed all this was done over a period of 24 months, believe it or not that was a world record for an individual. | Whilst all the above was taking place i also got a trout fly reviewed named Huff's Horror. This and all the above products / items were reviewed in the following magazines & papers accross europe. Tackle Talk, The Herald. The Times. The Telegraph. he Chronicle. Tackle & Guns. Trout Fisherman. Stillwater Angler. Angling Times. Practical Gamefishing. Trout & Salmon. Salmon Trout & Sea-Trout. Fly-Fishing & Fly-Tying. Salmon & Trout. Carp Talk and also a short piece on Channel 4 TV. Now you may ask, what happened next ?. he answer is simple, i quit. I hated all the fame, shows, interviews, i just found it all too much so i left it all and walked away, it was easy. To finish this article, i was also voted the best fishing tackle designer in europe at this time. Looking back i have no regrets either. |
