"Eyes On Me"

(A Ballroom full of people, the orchestra began to play the instrumental 
part of the song and Rinoa enters.  From a corner we can see Squall 
looking at his drink.  Quistis is on the chorus line, ready for Rinoa, who
turns to her, to star.  Quistis smiles and nods at Rinoa, who takes a deep 
breath and began  the song.)

You never sang my songs
On the stage, on my own
You never said my words
Wishing they would be heard

(Squall turns to the sound of the beautiful voice and notice Rinoa for the 
first time.  He watchs her as she sings and smiles softly.  They gazes 
seems to lock and she keeps on.)

I saw you smiling at me
Was it real or real, or just my fantasy
You'd always be there in the corner
Of this tiny little bar

(She smiles and leans a bit on her shoulder.  Several pairs had gathered in 
the dancing room.  Squall keeps watching her, with a serious expression. 
Rinoa closes her eyes and smiles)

My last night here for you
Same old songs just once more
My last night here with you
Maybe yes, maybe no

(Squall seems to think that a girl like her would never look at him and is 
surprised by her next line.  Rinoa is still looking at him.  His eyes widen as 
she raises her hand to him, inviting him to dance.)

I kind of liked it your way
How you shyly placed your eyes on me
Did you ever know that I had mine on you?

(Squall rises from his seat on the the corner and walks toward the singer.  
She notice this and turns away, blushing.  He looks up at her and raises 
his hand to invite her for the dance.  She blushes even more and takes his 
hand.  Quistis takes her place on the singer place and began to sing.  
Their voices are very alike.)

As if you're never hurt

Who pinches so softly, but sure,
If frown is shown then, I will know that you are no dreamer

*flute*  (As they dance Irvine appears and began to play the flute.  Squall 
turns to him and smiles, blushing.  Rinoa pinched his arm softly and he 
turns to her, realizing he has stopped dancing.)

(Quistis sings as Rinoa leans on Squall's chest.  Squall, surprises can 
stop his beating heart.  Rinoa hearing this smiles and looks up at him.  
Squall is blushing and breathing hard.  Rinoa smiles and returns to her 
previous place on his chest, her ear near his heart.)

So let me come to you
Close as I want to be
Close enough for me
To feel your heart beating fast

(Rinoa closes her eyes and stops smiling,  whispering the rest of the 
song.  Quistis notes this and sings softly and somehow sadly.  Rinoa feels 
the tears on her eyes and keep whispering.  With the last line Quistis 
smiles.)

And stay there are as a whisper
How I love your peaceful eyes on me
Did you ever know I had my eyes on you

(Squall feels something wet landing on his hand and looks down at 
Rinoa.  She is crying and trying really hard to smile at him.  He cups her 
face and with his fingers cleans the tears away.  He seems to be falling for 
her! [Uh ho!]  Rinoa sings at the tune with Quistis but for Squall and only 
Squall, who leans down and kisses her.)

Dariling so shed with me
Your love if you have enough
The tears if your holding back
A pain if that's what it is
How can I let you know
I'm more than a dress and voice
Just reach me out and  then I will know that your not dreaming

(Rinoa steps apart from Squall but he holds her to him again, smelling her
hair.  Rinoa buries her face on his chest and cries of happiness.  Squall 
leans to her and smiles, closing his yes.  They lock gazes and lean to each 
other again, kissing softly.  Squall stop the kiss and rubs his nose with 
hers, making her smile.)

*piano solo*  (Irvine finish the song with a pretty piano solo and smiles at 
his two friends, looking up at the stars as they shine over them.)
