The bride from the sea By: Nanu107 Disclaimers: Seph and Aeris are not mine, never were, never will. They are own by Squarsoft and co. (Too bad though!) Part 7 Month's flow like water Aeris realized there was no way to get out of the island but in the cruiser that arrived every three to six months to the island. She had not choise but to wait until a ship arrived there and she could go to her friends. Sinse that morning in which she fainted in the old man's house she hadn't heard the cry of the planet again. She had gotten so used to Sephiroth in the last three weeks that she felt, almost, at home. Yet she wanted to go to her friends and family. Sephiroth realized there was no other place for Aeris to stay while she was in the island but in his house. The rest of the tribe woulnd't allow her in their houses and Aeris felt more comfortable with him. She hadn't fainted again, and thanks to the gods she was perfectly healthy. They had gotten use to each other, so used that they almost looked like a married couple. They both realized that there was some kind of attraction, they were attracted so badly to each other, they both hurt. Specially Sephiroth, who had never known such kind of attraction. It was hopeless though, they were both to be separated as soon as the first boat arrived there. Yet there was something there... As Sephiroth laid there, in the small sofa, in one more sleepless night, he realized he was in love with Aeris. Feeling the sun hitting her skin, Tifa smiled. The pool in front of her was calm and empty. She was having a calm sunbath during early morning, with a tall glass of lemonade and some ice. Having the wedding in this large boat was such a good idea. Someone splashed her and the lemonade. Opening her eyes and she saw Yuffie swimming and splashing Red XIII. Barret had Marlene over one arm, while a very pregnad Shera pulled Cid to the water. Cloud appeared from one corner, wearing only a pair of shorts. He went over to Tifa and kissed her, groaning a 'good morning' while sitting in the chair next to her. They heard Yuffie screaming and turned to see Marlene splashing her. 'So, did you enjoy your breakfast alone?' 'I did. I checked the dress and shoes for the wedding too. The priest is ready for the ceremony. And the buffet will be ready during the reception.' 'Tifa, Honey! The wedding is in two days. Relax.' 'How you want me to relax?! It's my wedding! And we still have to pick....' Cloud stopped her with a kiss. They stared at each other for a second before a wave of water hitted them both. Turning they saw everybody else staring at them with buckets of water on their hands. Sephiroth stared at the ocean. The night was clear and the sea calm. Looking at the waters Sephiroth sighned. Sinse he realized he was in love, he too realized he wanted to hold her. Yet she was a little distant with him, although they became friends and lived together he felt like she was staying with him because no one will take her in. Yet there was something in her eyes when he met them with his that awoke a little hope inside his heart. Walking down the beach he noticed the boat docking in bay. It was dark, a little too dark for such luxury boats. All the passangers must be sleeping. Tommorow will be a busy day, he decided to go back to the house, and get so sleep. Next morning came to quick for his taste. Aeris had gone out for clean water while he over sleep. Sitting in the middle of the living room with only his blanket to cover his naked legs Sephiroth took a deep breath. He could hear the kids outside, selling the hand made collars or brazalets to the turists. A loud music played outside, maybe in the middle of the plaza. He knew that outside a hundred turits were walking and taking pictures everywhere. Feeling a little annoyed Sephiroth stood up and walked to his room, which was now hers, and let the blanket drop. His naked body was greeted by a wind of cold air, he ignored his raising hair and took a pair of pants from the closet, leaned to take his shoes and a clean pair of socks and finally a t-shirt. Turning he saw Aeris watching him in the door of the room, drops of water falling to her dress and feet while her mouth hanging open. Cloud walked through the crowd with Tifa's hand tightly held with his own. She was giggling, her voice and laughter mixing with the wind of the small village. Cloud, who had traveled the whole planet, saw the mountains pass the village and realized they were in the skirts of a iced mountain. This village must get very cold during winter, he noted. Not too concerned with the news Cloud made his way towards first row of the next show. Sitting in the floor next to Barret, Cid, and Shera, Cloud made space for Tifa. As the music began he saw the girls dancing, their clothing (or lack of it) were actually made of thin strips of rough material, their heads were covered with flower crowns, their skin was tanned, but none was as beautiful as Tifa. Shaking his head Cloud smiled and turned to see Tifa observing the girls, her eyes were full of happiness and he was happy about it. That was what he wanted to give her, after all they were in love and soon to be married. Turning again to the show Cloud saw Yuffie and Red at the other side of the dancing show, making their own dance. Vincent was nowhere to be found, he had decided to stay behind and explore a little, although they all had insisted in try to convince him to go with them he had refused, saying he wanted to find some old ruins that were located in this island. Cloud had bid them good bye and they parted, not knowing the surprise that Vincent was to have. Part 6 Surprise, Surprise!! Sephiroth blushed as Aeris stammered an apology. Covering himself with the shirt and pants, he asked Aeris to leave the room while he changed. Moving quickly Aeris tried to calm her racing heart. She swallowed hard once, or twice it didn't really matter, and walked quickly to the kitchen putting the water over the table. Gods, she was so ashamed! She had seen his bed disturbed and though he was in the bathroom, she had just ment to look for a towel to clean the floor and herself. She hadn't meant to see him naked, although it wasn't a bad sight anyway, she didn't knew men could be so....well gifted. Trying to cold herself down she moved her hand and felt her blush deepening. Why was she so agitated? It wasn't as if she were in love or anything with him! She heard the door of the room opening and turned to see Sephiroth standing there, wearing his tight black jeans and white shirt. HOW was she suppose to know he sleep in the nude?!! 'Sephiroth, I'm sorry about that?' 'Don't worry. It was my mistake.' He turned to leave but her voice called him. 'Are you going out?' She seemed...desperate to know. Turning he smiled at her. 'Just for a little while. I have to buy some supplies...' 'I'll go with you.' She quickly went into the bedroom and changed her wet clothing for clean, dry one. She pulled her hair down and came out of the room smiling. The incident from before forgotten. Opening the door for her, Sephiroth smiled as she passed by, smelling her perfume. Walking down the corridors, admiring the handy work done in the house-caves, Vincent looked at the job done in one of the doors. He took out a small camera and took a picture of the house, he had found the ruins but was dissapointed to find nothing there. Although he believed Lucrecia could probably appear to him there, he had been mistaken. He was dissapointed, more than ever. He decided to look around the village just to distract himself, and it had worked. He was very interested in the architecture of the houses in this place, they were full of live. Walking to the next house his sensitive hearing let him know that the dwellers of the house a few meter away were coming out. Hearing a familiar laughter Vincent had the necesity to hide. Doing so he watched Aeris and Sephiroth walking out of the house. Amazed, Vincent pulled his camera out and took a picture, deciding then to follow them. Aeris, who was taking the supplies that they needed for the house and her (somehow sad) departure, turned to see Sepiroth a little serious. He had noticed that someone was following them, but he couldn't place the spy inside the small convinience store, inside the cruise. The clerk smiled and offered Aeris a bottle of wine, the girl blushed and took it asking for the price. The clerk, an old lady looked at her and smiled sweetly. 'Nothing, just enjoy it with your handsome boyfriend.' Aeris laughted and Sephiroth turned, blushing madly at the words of the lady. 'Oh but we are not....' 'Thank you very much, we'll enjoy it over dinner tonight. Say 'thank you' dear.' 'Thank you.' Sephiroth smiled at the lady and played along with Aeris. Chuckling Aeris went over to Sephiroth and placed a kiss on his cheek. 'Shall we get going honey?' 'Sure thing....darling.' They walked to the counter and placed the goods and supplies over it to pay for them. Sephiroth watched as Aeris smiling at the clerk and waiting with shinning eyes for her recipt. For a little while he forgot about the spy walking behind them, tracking them down. For that little while he forgot about everything, just to watch her smile. He wanted that smile...all of her body, and all of her forever. Just to wake up and look at her...no. Not forever, just for one second, then he can die happy. Just for once. End of Chapter 4
