The bride from the sea By: Nanu107 Disclaimers: Seph and Aeris are not mine, never were, never will. They are own by Squarsoft and co. (Too bad though!) Author's note: I decide to write this series as short as possible. Maybe ten chapters or less. I'll love writting it longer but I've being bussy with work and studies. Yes I'm studing in summer, I don't have the same luck as Megumi-chan. Anyway, maybe I'll put up some more chapters this weekend and next week end but be patiend, I'll finish this story as soon as possible. Now enjoy! Part 5 To Marry... Rudely awaken Sephiroth sat on the small sofa, his long bangs of silver hair falling down his shoulders and covering his chest. Rubbing his eyes he heard Aeris walking back and forth in the living room. Babbling nonsense about a wedding. Sephiroth looked annoyed. 'I just can't believe this people will force me to marry you!' 'And as I said, you won't marry me, not against your will.' 'But those kids, they said that I would marry you in three months.' 'Yes, but if you tell them that you had some ind of accident and I just saved you, you won't have to marry me.' Was he so horrible for her? Certainly he had being the most hated man in the face of this planet but, was he really that grusome for her to refuse him in such a way? Was he a monster for her? Damn, he knew he was handsome. Several females had even tried to seduce him, married or not married. Walking to the room he dissapeared there for a second. Why did he felt so hurt all of a sudden? Putting up his pants Sephiroth groaned. He heard her moving again, but this time in the direction of the kitchen. Aeris was eating a handful of fruits and frowning. She didn't wanted to marry Sephiroth! Not that he was too good for him, but otherwise. She was saving herself for another man, a man who would be gentle and who would care if she was gone. Not Sephiroth! 'Well and why not?' Asked the smallest of voices inside her head. Frowning even deeper Aeris bitted a small grape and pulled an apple from the box in the corner of the kitchen. The fruits were sweet, juicy and big. Bitting the apple down Aeris felt it was a little sour, relaxing a little she put the apple over the small table next to her. Her face relaxed slightly. Her frown dissapeared and she replaced with the smallest of smiled. It wouldn't be that bad been married to Sephiroth, just unexpected. She knew he didn't wanted her as a woman, perhaps only as a friend. If they got married what difference would it make? She was going to leave, wasn't she? Of course she had to leave, not only the planet needed her but she wanted to see her friends. And Cloud. Her heart sank, if Cloud would learn where she is, he would surely run towards Sephiroth and kill him again. But Sephiroth seemed to have no intentions of killing or taking over the planet now. But what if Cloud came in here? They would fight and Sephiroth would get hurt! What did she cared anyway?! But he asked for her forgiveness, and she forgave him! Calm down now! 'Aeris?' Screaming Aeris turned to see Sephiroth staring at her. He was half smiling, dressed in black pantas and a gray turtle neck shirt that showed his muscles and arms very well. Blushing Aeris closed her eyes, trying to control the urge to touch him. "From where did that came from?" Walking in the middle of the small town, Sephiroth lead Aeris towards the older man's house. There they will explain the old man that the girl, Aeris, had and accident and that Sephiroth only saved her life. Hopefully he would understand and dissolve the marriage the town was talking about. Sephiroth realized they looked at her like they first looked at him, a complete stranger, that didn't belonged there. If Aeris was forced to marry and stay with him, it would take some time for her to be part of the village. Perhaps even longer than it took him. Once they arrived to the old man's house Aeris turned to see a few women looking at her with eyes full jelousy. One of them gave her the strangest of looks. Sticking her thonge out at her and leaning on Sephiroth, Aeris turned to see the old man looking at her. His bronce skin was wrinkled with age but she could see his eyes reflecting all those hentai thoughts of his. Whinning and running to hide behind Sephiroth, Aeris trembled. 'Oh hohohoho, I see you two have become good friends!' 'Old man, we are here to talk about 'my bride from the sea'.' 'And why is that?' 'She told me, during the storm, that she had an accident before I found her. the sea didn't send her for me. She had an accident and I saved her.' Aeris listened as the old man began an argument with Sephiroth and growled. 'Oh this could take a while.' She mourned as she sat on a small couch. Sephiroth neared the old man and began to speak about not wanting a small woman like Aeris to rule his destiny, and just then the Planet screamed with such strengh that sended Aeris to the floor. She curled into a ball as the Planet screamed with such strengh that Aeris could only see how Sephiroth moved his lips, arguing with the old man. Pointing towards Aeris, Sephiroth noticed her gone. Stopping the old man from speaking, Sephirot walked to the place she had being standing and found her in the floor, curled into a ball. Moving quickly Sephiroth knealed next to her. 'Aeris!' She was shaking. Taking her in his arms Sephiroth called for her, trying to wake her up. 'See she should be your wife!' The old man laughed and Sephiroth could only stare at him. Part 6 ...or not to marry... Aeris awoke in the same room she had being sleeping for the last two days. Looking around she saw Sephiroth sitting in a chair close to her. His eyes were closed, his arms crossed on his chest. There was a glass of water next to the bed, as if expecting for her to wake up and drink it. Smiling she sat on the edge of the bed. He had taken off her shoes and red jacket. Her braid was loose and looking at him she smiled. 'Thank you.' She whispered turning to her feet. 'Your welcome.' He was awake after all. Gasping and blushing Aeris looked at him. He had too, taken off his shoes and black jacket. Looking at her for a second he seemed to study her. 'Are you feeling well?' 'I'm fine, is just an old thing I have...' 'So you are use to faint in someone else's houses?' 'No.' She said with a smile. Remembering where she had fainted she blushed even deeper. 'What did the old man said?' 'There was no use in fighting him, he still believes we are to be married in three months.' he caressed his temples and forehead. Swallowing hard he turned from her staring eyes and stood from the chair, His lean legs moved quickly over the floor and towards the living room. 'What if I speak to him?' 'It would be no use. He said that because of the way I carried you here, and took care of you, we were meant for each other. That you, maybe had that accident, but for him it didn't matter. The wedding would be performed even if neither of us wanted to marry.' He appeared on the door and crossed his arms, leaning on the door. 'He didn't understood why we didn't wanted to marry each other, for we were handsome and we seemed bright. He said our children would be very pretty and that he would love to bless and care for them.' 'But I can't stay! The Planet is calling for me!' 'What do you mean the Planet is calling?' 'As a Cetra I heard the Planet calling for help. The Planet called when I fainted and the Planet brought me back to life.' Sephiroth looked at her for a second. Understood and knew she had too go some day, but she alone to save the Planet? It was stupid! She couldn't handle fighting against a monster for five minutes, she was way too fragile. Looking at each other Sephiroth realized he wouldn't mind marring the small woman after all. End of Chapter 3
