Introduction
        
            In the 21st century, the new technology that has been created has allowed scientists to develop new exciting solutions to many problems.  Nano technology is at the forefront of most of these new developments, because it is able to approach problems from a very different level.  Nanomachines built with nanotechnology are made on the molecular level, atom by atom.  Because of these means of construction, its application in medicine is very important.  The medical world is largely based on what happens at the molecular level, so if people want to solve medical problems they need to come up with molecular solutions.  The physics that are involved with the application of nanotechnology is what makes it so useful in the medical field.  Quantum physics, which has to do with the physical properties of individual particles, is the set of principles that governs the activity of these nanomachines.
