I am a christian of 34 years. I was saved August 18, 1967 at a small church Fairveiw Freewill Baptist Church, which has since changed to Fairview Baptist. I was a member there 30 years, moved my letter to Ironaton Baptist two years ago.
I am married to a wonderful, God fearing man. Next to God, my best friend. He and I together have 6 children.1 son, 5 daughters,20 grandchildren 3 great grandchildren, 2 on the way.
My husband is total disable but when he is well we have a nursing home ministry. We go to the nursing home 3 times a month.
I sing gospel music and have sang for most of my life. My dad was a baptist minister.
Going to church was just what you did. He instilled in his children God was God and God came first, what ever your talent, you gave it your best. All us children grew up singing, my brothers and sisters have since gone our separate ways. Now I sing gospel with sound track.
I love my ministry and I also have a card ministry. I send cards to the sick and shut-in. I just love doing my little for the lord because I love my Lord, He's my best friend. I don't feel deserving of his love but hes loved me unconditionally. I praise him and thank him for his love and mercy.
