Tuesday 30th of March 2004

Today we stand up 8.00a.m. Yesterday we booked the transfer to Koh Samui incl. by bus and ferry is everywhere the same 300,00Baht. We drove 5hours from Krabi to Koh Samui. We get to know 2peoples from Israel and talk about with them. Permanent interrupted us the troublesome peoples from Guesthouses, they want to sale Transfer on Samui and her guesthouse. I sad to them that I have my bicycle on board and in my rucksack I have a tent , so I dont need transfer and guesthous on Samui Now I was finished with them.

From Nathon pier Samui we drove by a big taxi to Lamai Beach, for only 50Baht per person. We arrived Lamai at 4p.m. At first we went in a restaurant and I ordert my meal and a fresh watermelon-shake and went to the Guesthouses and Hotels to asked for free rooms and the price, I asked in 6 locations and the last was the best the Holiday Park Hotel. Isn't direct on the beach. 700Baht with aircon and fridge and televison, thats ok. I sad 15 min I come back with my friends. My meal was ready, I'm so hungry. Now check in at Holiday Park and lets start to the beach and shopping :-). In the evening we changed from any restaurant to the next and then we came in the Lamai Cabarett bar. It was a so funny, but only one time is ok to have fun there. The show have take Katois and real woman, but we don't know who is what? Come yourself and look

After that we want to the beach and sit in a bar direct on the beach, we had a totaly crazy waiter, we had so much fun with him. We thought that he was a little bit drunken or he had smoked a marihuana cigarette

We sit there2hours and have made a plan for the next days. Tomorrow we want to go by catamaran to Koh PhaNgan from the Big Buddha beach. I've readed that the catermaran starts 11.00a.m. from there in the Guide book. About 2.00a.m. we went to sleep.

Wednesday 1st of April 2004

We stand up half past 9a.m. and check out for this day, but we come back in the next days, we don't know when.

Start at 11.00a.m. by Taxi. Normaly the ride to Big Buddha beach is a half hour, but this pick up taxi was slowly, drove to the chaweng beach and stopped for many times. On chaweng we must change in another pick up, with them we drove to the Big Buddha. 12oclock starts the boat to Koh PhaNgan. We arrived the pier 5 minutes before, scarce. I've bought the tickets and saw it is cheaper then the descriptions in the guide book. Thats ok, good Timing. It don't drove a catamaran, it drove a normaly boat, Now I knew why the price was cheaper.

One hour later we was in Koh PhaNgan. Finally, my 5th time here in Thailand and the first time on Koh PhaNgan. The last days I've read in the guide book for the best place there. But we don't know what we want :-) We waited 10 min and drove by Taxi to Haad Yao West. The ride was adventurous, up and down and up and down. Left side the sea and right side the palmwood. Now we must ask every Guesthouse whats the price with aircon. With aircon isn't cheaper as Koh Samui and Krabi. So we booked in Had Yao Beach Guesthouse for the next night for 800Baht. But with fan you can get a room for only 150Baht. But Steve need aircon. On the beach we was with maybe 10 or 15 peoples alone, no Coca Cola sunshade and camp beds, thats wonderfull. The sand was whit and fine like flour. We lie all day on the beach and ate at the Guesthouse to the dinner: Barbecue fish good taste.

We sat in the evening on the beach and enjoued the paradiese feeling.

Thursday 2nd of April 2004

9.00o'clock in the morning we standed up and lets start to the beach, brilliant the view. Look at the pictures.

At the noon we must go outside from the sun, that we don't get a sunburn. So we went to the Internetcafe, there I must check up the flight from Koh Samui to Bangkok at sunday morning or monday morning, we don't know yet, if we fly Sunday or Monday. On Sunday evening is on the Nai Harn Beach her in Koh PhaNgan the big FullMoonParty, so we would like to go there or with Yuvardee from Bangkok to Samut Sakorn to Homestay Thailifestyle. Now we agree on that we want to join Yuvardee and fly on Sunday to Bangkok. So we looked at Bangkokairways.com for flights, it gives the early bird tarif for the first flight in the morning 2000Baht exluded tax, but the machin on sunday was full. I phoned with Bangkokairways to asked the regular fare, 3600Baht!!! excluded tax. Thats to expensive, we must look on an other side, Thai Airways flights from Surrat to Bangkok, there we must by ferry to Surat and by bus to the Surat airport. We looked at this site and found the flight in the noon 12.50p.m. for 2100Baht inclusive tax. So we booked this flight and paid by kreditcard. Ferry and Bus to Surat Airport costs ca. 300Baht.

Now we went back to the beach and lie in the sun. Christian have Christian ließ sich noch mit einer Thaimassage am Strand verwöhnen für 180,00Baht (weniger als 4,00€) eine Stunde. Wir sahen nur zu und wußten nicht so recht ob wir das auch tun sollten..?

Nach dem Abendessen liefen wir den Strand entlang und ließen uns an der ein und anderen Strandbar nieder.

The last night on Koh PhaNgan, we sat on the bar on the beach all night. But think 2 or 3a.m. we went to bed.
