I will try to put their correct colors as per the European BVA followed
by what is considered the more normal terms here in the USA.
Denny (R) and Crainne (L)
Denny is an AquaTurq pied/Opaline/pallid
(Seagreen pied/opaline/aussie cinn)
& Crainne is a Violet D Green/Turq/OF?/Fallow?
(dark green violet/WF blue/OF?/Fallow?)
According to the genetics calculator, they can have a hundred different colors of chicks!! They are my "surprise" pair.
Denny & Crainne are now on a vacation from breeding for the next couple months!
Sapphire & Opie
Sapphire is an Opaline D Aqua
(Opaline Med Blue)
and Opie is a Violet D AquaTurquoise/Opaline
(Med Seagreen Violet/Opaline)
They should have mostly opalines
or split opalines in the blue series
with some having violet. Opie & Sapphire are also on vacation now for a few months time.
Huffy & Maize
Huffy is a AquaTurq
Pied/Edged Dilute/Ino?
(Seagreen Pied/Silver/Ino?)
and Maize is a Pallid/Edged Dilute
(Aussie Cinn/Silver)
They will have edged dilutes, pied edged dilutes and normal AquaTurq split to edged dilute
Blueberry and Levi
Blueberry is a Violet D AquaTurq
Opaline hen (Violet Seagreen
Opaline with one dark factor)
and Levi is a Violet D Turq/Opaline? or
WF Cobalt Violet/Opaline?
with a dark factor
Hopefully Levi will prove he is
split opaline and they should have
lovely Violet Opaline chicks
