| What a good set of results the club are having at the moment - with the first team winning on Saturday and in the League Cup on Monday and Tuesday. There was a comment on Saturday (from one set of �cheerleaders�) - "we could be at home/in the pub for six" (at the stage when Narborough were 19 for 5!!) but Narborough came back brilliantly. Unfortunately, yet again, the seconds were cancelled due to a waterlogged pitch at Sileby. But here�s the first team results: Langtons: 159 for 7 Narborough 161 for 7: N Whitmore 62 n.o. S Wenlock 44 The League Cup, which was played on Monday 21st and Tuesday 22nd May 2001, had the following excellent result: Leicester Ivanhoe 144 all out (28.3 overs) Lee Wolloff 3 for 22 Narborough 145 for 6 (26.4 overs) K Eddington 63 off 43 balls N Whitmore 22 n.o. (Did anyone spot the County Player in the �crowds� on Tuesday!!!) |
