"For
God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever
believeth in him
should not
perish, but have
everlasting
life."
John 3:16
"You can give without loving, but you can't love without giving."
Marriage
At An Early Urge!
Nice
night in June, stars shine, big moon
In
park with girl, heart pound, head swirl.
Me
say "love", she coo like dove;
Me
smart, me fast, me never let chance pass,
"Get
hitched", me say. She say, "okay".
Wedding
bells ring, ring, honeymoon, everything
Settled
down, married life,
Happy
man, Happy wife.
Another
night in June, stars shine, big moon
Ain't
happy no more, Carry baby, walk floor.
Wife
mad, she stew; me mad, stew too.
Life
one big spat; nagging wife, bawling brat,
Realize
at last, Me move too fast!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
1 Corinthians 13:1-7
Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have
not love. I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.
And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries,
and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove
mountains, and have not love, I am nothing.
And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I
give my body to be burned, and have not love, it profiteth me nothing.
Love suffereth long, and is kind; love envieth not; love vaunteth
not itself, is not puffed up,
Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily
provoked, thinking no evil;
Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;
Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth
all things.
1 Corinthians 13:13
And now abideth faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest
of these is love.
LOVE.
. . beareth all things
To
be doubted and distrusted,
Misunderstood,
maligned;
Accused
of wrongs you have not done,
Nor
ever had in mind;
To
feel the lash of bitter tongues,
Like
whips upon the hide,
And
never once retaliate
Though
all the world deride. . .
To
bear the little things that seem
To
irritate, annoy;
The
tiring, irksome duties --
Things
one never could enjoy:
To
go about the daily task,
Refusing
to complain,
But
gladly serve, and smiling through,
Each
day a victory gain. . .
Can
this be done?
Are
they not high,
These
great, these grand ideals?
Love
beareth all things,
Love
Divine
The
inward power reveals.

Jesus Calls Us
Jesus calls us; o'er the tumult
Of our life's wild, restless sea,
Day by day His sweet voice soundeth,
Saying, "Christian, follow Me."
As, of old, apostles heard it
By the Galilean lake,
Turned from home and toil and kindred,
Leaving all for His dear sake.
Jesus calls us from the worship
Of the vain world's golden store,
From each idol that would keep us,
Saying, "Christian, love Me more."
In our joys and in our sorrows,
Days of toil and hours of ease,
Still He calls, in cares and pleasures,
"Christian, love Me more than these."
Jesus calls us: by Thy mercies,
Saviour, may we hear Thy call,
Give our hearts to Thy obedience,
Serve and love Thee best of all.
