                                          Date: 29th November 2003

Interview conducted by Miss Ophey with help (questions)                                                                                               from Miss Betty, Mr Ragg, Miss Katillius and Miss Hailz.
Interview was taken place: through emails

Miss Ophey: How is your American Tour going?

David: Our US tour is going very well. It's very insperational to come and this way and make new fans and friends.

Miss Ophey: Do the American fans differ much from the European fans?

David: Everyone likes us for different reasons in different parts of the world...

Miss Ophey: How would you describe your style of music?

David: Rambunctious, erotic, adventurous, breathless and wild.

Miss Ophey: Which of the many gigs you have done, stands out as the best ever?

David: Too hard to answer... but if pushed then any Glasgow show or Astoria show on the Oceans Of Venus Tour (PT.1)

Miss Ophey: If you could pick anyone in the world, living or deceased, to play with you live for one night, who would it be?

David: Russell Crowe

Miss Ophey: Who are your influences/ what music did you listen to as a child?

David: I love Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, Todd Rundgren, Prince and KISS. As a child I was influence by anythingthat took me away from the mundainity of the real world. And Jesus Christ.

Miss Ophey: As a band, what do you think is your biggest achievement to date?

David: To keep playing rock n' rolldespite the constant rivers of bullshit we constantly have to wade through in the music business.

Miss Ophey: What are the worst bits about touring?

David: Aching heart.

Miss Ophey: Why is it that guys can put on make-up more successfully than most woman?

David: Most guys can't put on make-up more successfully than woman, it's just us.

Miss Ophey: What do you think of TV shows like Popstars and Fame Academy?

David: They're okay if the people have some talent, but Pop Idol is just disgusting, They spend more time ridiculing kids who can't sing than showing people who can. Simon Cowell is a fucking pig who breaks kid's hearts on TV and calls it entertainment.

Miss Ophey: Did any of you dream of becoming a rockstar?

David: No we just did it.

Miss Ophey: What has most of the feedback about your performance in bed been like?

David: Can't find a bed to keep the whole band and equipment in. (Miss Ophey - arf arf!)

Miss Ophey: Do you find that horses on carousels that have poles in their heads slightly scary?

David: I grew up in the carnival so I love carousels.

Miss Ophey: At the moment, do you feel a bit like drummer whores? Yee seem to be going through them so quickly... :P Why be this?

David: Drummers, drummers, drummers ... Hey can YOU play? (Miss Ophey - actually... i AM learning... :P)
All the crew here at Alpha would like to thank Mr David Ryder-Prangley for partaking in this interview... thank you! We love you!
