What can I say? Could this gig have got any better? (well drinks could have been cheaper, but it's a club, what do you expect?)
Anyway, first off Charger played (I think) (the drummer was so FAT!) but we missed about half there set from being about half an hour late and the other half by trying to find a toilet/Myke. But they weren't very good anyway. Music was to messy. So we were just by the bar. Then for Murder One we went down for a bit and I saw Kurt =O Pjesus he looked so different. They were OK. Their singer was the singer from Raging Speedhorn. They were OK but nothing special.
Then good old My Ruin came on! Megan looking hot as ever =) I wasn't expecting much as i thought Tarrie's screaming wouldn't be as good live than on CDs. Fack I was wrong! Everything was done so well and the guitar sounded perfect, no like bands when you hear them live and it's all sloppy. Asafuckingloutly amazing!
It was really sweet because Tarrie dedicated the set to this guy Beanie from London who died a few months back, he was about 19 I think. I didn't know him personally, or have never even met him, but he was friends with one of my best friend's friend's so I'd heard of him.Then Tariie got all upset andf shit it was when people die etc which was all tearful =(
Then she did this great "speach" thing about girl power in rock, and how she was put down as a woman in rock, by a woman in rocka and saying how we don't all have to be like Cheeno fucking Mareeno. He is a willy. So all the girls went crazy poos =)
This was probably the best gig I've ever been to *I havn't been to many though =S* The venue was fabio, the sound was rad, and the band were Facking wondeful =)
