Day 8 - Sun. January 4 2004
Woke up early and headed off to Planet Hollywood in Downtown Disney for breakfast. It was great...the whole restaurant was reserved just for the band, and the Disney characters even stopped by! After hanging with Mickey and pals for a bit, we headed off to MGM...my FAVE Disney park. Me, Megan, Molly, Robyn, Ian and Nick went off together. Our first stop was the Aerosmith Rockin' Roller Coaster...it was awesome! I found Kelly, Katie and Brian there, and I rode with them. We then took some crazy pics with psychadelic wigs in the Aerosmith shop, and Nick bought his very own pair of drumsticks....oh geez. Lol. Then we went over to the Tower of Terror, which I was scared to death of! I was scared out of my mind, and it didnt help that Ian and Nick were grabbing me again... So we basically went on every ride in the park, and saw the Indiana Jones Stunt show...and Mike was an Extra in it!! So he wore a pink turban and ran around on stage...it was SO FUNNY. I didnt even watch the stunts, I just watched him run around around and scream like a girl. Haha. Then Megan and Robyn went shopping, and I went off with Nick, Ian, Dave, Molly and little Ben. We were going to go on the Aerosmith ride again, but the line was too long, so we ended up at the Tower again. Oh geez. After, Ben and Dave realized that our pic didnt come out, so they complained to the Disney ppl to see if they'd let us on again, and they did...with no wait. Oh God...did I mention that ride scares me to death?!? Then we finally had to leave Disney altogether...so SAD!! :( We headed over to the Mercado Village for dinner and shopping, and then we went back to the buses to head back to Pittsburgh. |
