We took these pictures right before a trip to Bakersfielf a few weeks back.

We were trying to choose what outfit he should wear and he was just looking so cute we had to snap a few pictures.

As you can see he is filling out really well, and his color is great. As a matter of fact, you can see a lot of the Indian in him. Now that he's getting chunky he REALLY looks like a Bates kid!

Maybe I will let that milkman off the hook. Who knows?

Oliver is eating every 2 hours, like clockwork! I swear this kid wouldn't miss a feeding for anything, regardless of how late it is :)

People always keep telling you, "Oh you'll never sleep now. He's gonna eat all day"

Yeah yeah yeah, enough with the advice already. We KNOW it. The truth is though, that he's not too bad in the middle of the night if we make sure he's given a good dinner.

And as you can tell, he's been getting a lot of good dinners. As I type this, he is well over 12 lbs already, and will probably hit 13 by Thanksgiving.

Now Oliver isn't too keen on baths. We don't think he has a problem with the hygenic part, or the bathing part itself...more that he doesn't like the temperature changes.

He has had a few baths that were really nice, but usually in the tub where we can keep him relatively submerged in his little bathtub.

This was not one of his happy experiences with bathing, as you can see.

We have pretty much stopped giving him baths in the sink like this one. It's next to a window and he just gets too cold.

I'm sure he'll start to like them soon. If not, we'll just have our own little pigpen.
