For centuries sooth Sayers have given us a glimpse into the future, a short, ever so swift glance as what will or can be. Hardly does any one leave with the harsh knowledge that they will among to nothing or even that they will                      die by the time they get home. When you do come across these rare cases the pore souls with bitter knowledge, spend them selves to their dying breath in a desperate if futile attempt to prove them wrong.  And out of their                      useless desperation they more often prove them to be right.
There??s something about the indomitable human spirit that allows it to be dominated, time and time again. To be ruled, bent, and even molded by the will of                      those they see as greater then themselves. Like God, or fate; two utterly non-corporeal entities of thoughts that take no proven action in reality, and yet drive armies to war and simple people to their deaths.
Life has an almost pallid haze to it. ??It??s fate??? people say, shrugging off the cruelty laid at their feet and walking away. But what if one where to                      push? Instead of saying that fortune favors the bold and only the blind presume to understand the true workings of life.
If fate and God aren??t truly viable; tangible, then what is one to say they exist save for a blanket of comfort or reassurance that there is something greater                      then themselves, or better yet simply a collar to control a populace. To install a thought, no, a fact, which they are not in control, that something or some one is calling the shots. What better way to control the thoughts and                      will of people then by religion?
(Another writing from an old booklet at the time I was proud of it? now it??s more a garbled scream of an idly mind seeking some foot hold in flimsy beliefs and thoughts. God, and fate, are coined terms I used a lot back then                      I was still pissed at ??fate?? for the cards I??d been dealt and just sought to eliminate both of them as a childish mockery of human ignorance, in one fell swoop.)
