In celebration of Dr. Suess' Birthday the library at Kaneland Elementary,
North Campus was decorated in "Suess Style." One of the activities
of the week was a Family Reading Night. Students and their
families returned to school in the evening for a variety of Bedtime
Stories. These were read by community volunteers. My partner
and I read Pet Detectives (a Home Alone type story of a cat
and a dog). I played the role of cat in the story, he played the part of
the dog. I soon became known around the school as "the cat lady"
or "they cat-in-the-hat lady."
