A Rock Band
Earthsuit is a pretty cool band. They are one of our favorites. They have a funky sort of sound mixed with rock. They have many catchy songs. Earthsuit is one of those rare bands who sound even better during their performance than on their CD. This does not mean that their CD sounds bad, it just means that they are exceptionally awesome live. They bring an energy to the stage that is unbeatable and even if you don't care for their music, you will adore their performance. We saw them live at Creation West, 2000.
One of their most catchiest songs is 'One Time.' It has that feel that could get them radio play. I have heard people compare them to Limb Bizkit and Rage Against The Machine, but they have their own, very unique sound that transends comparison with any bands that I know of.
Earthsuit's songs have very deap, metaphorical meaning and are captivatingly mind blowing. They get most of their song ideas from the Bible. One example of this is 'Wheel' taken from the book of Ecclesiastes. And 'Whitehorse' taken from Revelations talking about "Jesus riding on a white horse." Their best song, in my oppinion, is 'Said the Sun to the Shine." This song just puts you in a good mood and has you wondering about the song's meaning. Check out their first self-titled album at most Christian music stores.
