IT'S YOUR DAY, DEAR MOTHER!

It's Your day, dear Mother!
I can't replace You with another!
All beauty, my errors, my trials on this
life path I have discovered through You!

My joy to remain forever child,
experimenting with life like a wild,
my attempts to fly on my own wings,
my memories that warming smiles bring;

All my steps are related to You.
Everything to You I due.
It's Your day, dear Mother!
I can't replace You with another!

First things I heard on the World
were your sweet singing words.
My life started with Your loving voice.
You taught me that I always had another choice.

To all my new beginnings
You added new meanings.
To every one marvel
You added a new level.

Your features You gave me
all my faults You forgave me.
It's Your day, dear Mother!
I can't replace You with another!

You gave me Your life light.
You gave me your insight.
You gave me Your sense of beauty.
You gave me Your sense of duty.

As my flowers today You receive,
accept all love that I can give!
It's Your day, dear Mother!
You don't compare with another!

Author's Comments:
I just lost my mother last month
and this poem which I wrote when
we were still together, means a
lot to me...
