Beyond The End

I hope this confirms just how I feel,

The love I have for you is real.

You've instilled in me the best of you,

With many years of guidance true.

For all the hurts that I brought,

I have one comfort in that thought.

I hope someday you'll turn to me,

And ask for what I give for free.

I am filled with so much pride,

Just knowing that we walked in stride.

There are so many things I cherish of you,

Because you're my mother that is true.

So many times thru out the years,

I watched while you shed your tears.

Please believe what you've done so well,

Is raise this daughter to be swell.

My fondest wish for you is that,

You'll turn to me the so called Brat.

And rely on strengths that I have within,

To take with you far beyond the end....
