Whispers
A whisper's more than gentle words,
...soft-spoken in the night...
More than love on silent screens,
...in faded shadow's light!
A whisper is a baby's sigh,
...caught slumbering so still...
Tiny fingers touching mine,
...a touch my heart can feel!
A whisper wraps its way around,
...and reaches through and through...
Each time that little child of mine,
...whispers "I love you"!
So...touch the magic of your dreams,
...in all you say and do...
Store them safely when you can,
...they're only whispers too!
