Review

Ah! My Goddessgreat for everyone to watch. Its got everything from romance to action to humour, perfect for just about everyone.

The animations in this series were probably the highlight of the entire series! Everything was absolutely spectacular. Everyone was beautiful with unique clothes and bright colours that brought out the images. There were never any dull animations through any of the series and nothing was repetitive, the backgrounds and scenery were just plain perfect.

There was a lot of soft music which gave the show a serene atmosphere which was great. The voices were good, but nothing to out of the ordinary in the sound department.

Ah! My Goddess scored high points in the originality department. I mean, how many other shows do you know about wish goddesses that have a help line? Exactly. The episodes seemed to go by quickly, which was good in many ways because it wasnt boring. Some of the episodes even passed many months in 20 minutes but it just seemed right, the pace was great. The creators did a very good job of giving us time to get used to the situation, problems and characters in a short amount of time.

Characters were nothing out of the ordinary. You get your mature, cute leading lady Belldandy, your outgoing, push things along, scheming sister Urd, and of course, the cutest genius that remains a little immature younger sister Skuld. And of course, lets not forget the star male Morisato who eventually charms everyone into loving him.

The only downside I can say about this series, is the slight boringness of the characters. Weve all seen these personalities before right? Its been done, and done again. Even Belldandys sweetness starts to get on your nerves by the end of the short 5 episodes. But thats really no big deal, everything else makes up for it, and I ended up really liking the series. It was talked about all over the net, and I had to find out how good it really wasI wasnt disappointed.
