Okay, I like to do the little color chart thing, the blocks of color on the right, by picking each color that I want to recolor and make a line up of the darkest to the lightest. Then I put the color that I want them to be on the other side. Select the color you want to use and make it show up in the row of colors at the bottom, tis called a pallet I think. Then right click on that color and select the erase tool*circled in red nearest to the top* Then select the color you want to color over. Look at the bottom most red circled thing, that's how it should look. Then, holding down the right mouse button, drag the erase thingy over the sprite. This will exchange the colors. It's an awesome tool and I'm sooooo thankful that I figured it out!
