Senior Ball

This is my Senior Ball picture taken May 25th, 2000. This is my good friend Sandy, whom I know from both school and the Mariner Swim Team. We had a great time that night, and I really did not want the night to end...It was the greatest time I had all year and I'm so happy that I asked Sandy=) We literally danced the night away. The theme was "I Will Remember You," and I will surely remember Sandy and this night for a very, very long time=)
Here's Sandy and I at her house. Yes, just like tradition, I drove to my date's house and picked her up. Oh yes, the wait....I did that too, but the father wasn't in the room with me cleaning his knife set or shotgun like most movies portray that scenario=P The family was really nice and we talked a bit about the itinarary for the night and took a few pictures before we left.
Hehehe...ok, here we are leaving. Sandy's Mom just had to get one last picture.
Is anyone hungry? Well, we ate at Yoshi's at Jack London Square in Oakland. We wanted to keep the cost down, but still nice. We all agreed on it and having dinner was a nice ice-breaker to get more acquainted for the upcoming festivities.
Here's the other side of the table at Yoshi's. Yup, it's Dianne and Josh as they wait to be served their meals.
Here's the view from the Carnelian room, which is a really nice restaurant I think on the 52nd floor of the Bank of America Building. We arrived early in San Francisco, it was a beautiful day, and so we decided to go up the the fine dining area. We obviously didn't have any reservations, but we were able to sit in the lounge. As you can tell, the view was marvelous...but unfortunately, the camera can never capture that panoramic view we had that evening. It was beautiful...
Here's another shot from the 52nd floor. The Triangular building, if you don't know, is a distinguishing landmark of San Francisco. It's the TransAmerican Building. Just look how clear it was today. Trust me, we rarely get days this clear in the Bay Area. Most of the time, the view is hindered by fog, clouds, and of course smog factors into the picture.
Ok, no one would believe us that we went to the Carnelian Room, so we decided to get some evidence.
hehehe...We all just had to take a picture in front of this. This place was so wonderful. In a way, we all regretted not trying to get reservations here instead of at Yoshi's...the view was fantastic! Oh, sorry. I've said that like a thousand times already.
Here's the two lovely ladies whom I have had the privilege of driving to the ball. Awwww...look at them sporting their beautiful dresses and corsages. Just like in Cinderalla, though, when the clock strikes midnight, this ball will be over. Gee, I wish it didn't have to end. We had a wonderful time.
We took this picture near the emergency exit....hehehe, yah we parked ourselves near the fire escape. The other couple in the picture is Josh and Dianne who also was in my car. We all went together to dinner and to the San Francisco Merchant Center. Actually, this picture doesn't look half bad; it could be mistaken as a professionally done photograph.
Here's a great bunch of Seniors having fun also at Senior Ball. It's Dan and Sarah!
Oh look at these two party animals...hehehe...looks like they're ready to take to the dance floor and dance the night away.
This is Eddie and his date. Wow! it's just amazing how excited we all were at the ball. We all get dressed up for this one night of bliss=)
Gee Golly, Liz and Austin look good in this picture. These two crazy people seem inseparable and they've been to practically every single dance together.
Wow, it's the twins and their dates. This is a cute picture I must say.
Here's the big Senior Ball group picture.
It's ladies night out tonight.
Here's Anthony and KB. Don't they look cute together.
Hehehe...Anthony, the ladies man=P
Look! It's the Fabulous Trio. Super Heroes of the future....hehehe...Villains be afraid! Be very afraid! GRRRRRRRR!!!! hehehe...alright, I'm sure by this time you're laughing. hahah...Man, we sure do look hilarious!
And here's my beautiful "sis." You were like a Princess in that dress of yours. In my eyes, you were always that beautiful princess.
