This is the place where Manwë, the Lord of the Air and the Eagles lives, in Tolkien Mythology.

I did this one at the height of the Tolkien-fever I was in about four years ago, because I wanted to try out watercolors without well-defined shapes.

The ocean, the clouds etc are all without any particular lines dividing the colours.
