Let's start out with a combination of Pyramid 4 and Dial 5.
An AU swap takes place as in Dial 3. The letter U is swapped with the letter V.
The deciphering mechanism dictates that the S edge perform a prev/next replacement first. By applying the rules in Pyramid 8 the letter A is replaced with the letter T.
The deciphering mechanism dictates that the D edge perform a prev/next replacement second. And this is where it starts to get tricky. By applying the rules in Pyramid 8 the letter O is replaced with the letter C and the letter E. But this is not possible. It must be done one step at a time. One of two O's is replaced with the letter E.
Next the letter M swaps with the letter S. This changes the pyramid paradigm to Pyramid 10.
By applying the rules in Pyramid 10 the second of two O's is replaced with the letter E.
The deciphering mechanism dictates that the M edge perform a prev/next replacement third.
By applying the rules in Pyramid 10 the D is replaced with the letter L.
Overlaying the all red pyramid with the original blue pyramid displays how the letters DOUOSVAVVM map into LEVEMUTUUS.
