Let's start out with a combination of Pyramid 4 and Dial 5.
Reverse the U and the A to be A and U (auris utraque). Notice that this is the exact opposite of the Leve Mutuus swap (U and A).
An AU swap takes place as in Dial 2. The letter A is swapped with the letter O. Notice that this is the exact opposite of the Leve Mutuus swap (U and V).
The deciphering mechanism dictates that the S edge perform a prev/next replacement first. By applying the rules in Pyramid 8 the letter U is replaced with the letter T and the V is replaced with the letter R.
The deciphering mechanism dictates that the D edge perform a prev/next replacement second. By applying the rules in Pyramid 8 the letter S is replaced with the letter C and the letter M is replaced with the letter E.
The deciphering mechanism dictates that the M edge perform a prev/next replacement third.
By applying the rules in Pyramid 8 the D is replaced with the letter L.
Overlaying the all red pyramid with the original blue pyramid displays how the letters DOUOSVAVVM map into ERRORCATAL.
