KEYBOARD SHORTCUTS FOR SPEEDY TYPISTS

Do you want to speed up your typing and save energy? And your
scrolling through any screen?
Keep your hands over the keyboard.
Instead of frequently taking your right hand off the
keyboard to pick up the mouse, move it across the screen to click
somewhere then put the mouse down and return your hand to the
keyboard try these Keyboard Shortcuts to save time and energy.
Learn a few at a time.
Scrolling using the Arrow Keys instead of the
mouse on the Scroll bar. In any screen (like in Help or
many Web pages) with more than one ruled off section or list it is
necessary to first click in the section you want to make the
active window section before you scroll with the arrow keys.
This also applies in E-mail – click to choose the message
titles, folders or message box.
The Arrow keys take the active cursor with them
Although some Keyboard Shortcuts work in many programs, others
only work in some, and some have different combinations for their
shortcuts.
Long lists of Keyboard Shortcuts and the Function for each of
these keys can be found in the Help menu of Word documents and can be
printed out. Here I will present the more useful ones in related
groups.

Here are a few handy Shortcuts to start with.
CLOSE A PROGRAM using Alt+F4
CLOSE A WORD DOCUMENT WITH Ctrl+W
CLOSE MOST DIALOGUE BOXES WITH ESC
PRINT PREVIEW – OPEN WITH Ctrl+F2 ---- CLOSE WITH ESC
