BIOS FIRMWARE DEVELOPER

Job Summary

Develop, maintain and leverage real-time embedded firmware for a variety of electronic hardware platforms and print/scan engine mechanisms. Responsibilities include development of embedded product firmware to interface with a network or local computer, interface with the print/scan engine, control the custom ASIC, and process the print data. Additional responsibilities may include performance analysis, leveraging firmware to various microprocessor architectures, and specification or creation of development tools.

Job Qualifications

Has BS degree in any of the following: Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science (degree in MS is an added advantage)
Fresh graduates of good academic standing are welcomed to apply
Coursework should include: digital design, computer architecture, data structures, high-level programming languages. It is preferred that the candidate has coursework in: software engineering principles, compiler design, operating system design, and algorithms.

FIRMWARE DEVELOPMENT ENGINEERS

Job Summary

Responsibilities for the position will include the design, development and maintenance of designated scan and image processing subsystem(s) as part of an embedded controller environment. The position requires cooperation within a large-scale development organization to deliver cross-subsystem functionalities.In addition, coordination is required with the assessmend team and test department to identify, analyze, and resolve reported functionality issues.This position requires synchronization of development tasks while working as a member of a multi-site development organization.Unit testing of any code changes is always required.

Job Qualifications

Job Summary

Supports the DE team throughout the product development stages by:

Advising them on general guidelines of manufacturing in Asia.

MOTION CONTROL ENGINEER

Job Summary

We need Motion Control Engineer who will measure, troubleshoot & grow to design motion control in laser printers using velocity & position feedback of motors. The systems shall range from phase lock loop controlled 50 KRPM laser polygon motors, to PID controlled fractional horsepower brush & brush-less dc motors controlled to produce less than a micron of position error, to open loop step motor position systems. The position requires sizing the motors and working with vendors to acquire the motors at a low cost. A "mechatronics" background/interest, which is a hybrid skill mix of electrical and mechanical engineering, is ideal.
