Gracie's Biography
Grace Kwon will be starting the MFA program at George
Mason University this fall. A recipient of a TA
Fellowship, Grace hopes not only to become a published
writer, but to also teach fiction writing. Grace
believes that there is a strong Asian American Writers
movement building up, a sort of Asian American
Renaissance. Her dream is to be part of this movement
and to give a voice to the Korean American Community,
especially on the East Coast. If she could do anything
right now, it would be to bring an Asian American
Literature class to George Mason. Her favorite author
is John Steinbeck, because he is "the mirror into our
souls".
