It is an inescapable paradox that binds us.
We are lost somewhere along the curved line where Yin gives way to Yang.
We try not to care too much, and find ourselves caring more than we want to admit.
We try to take things slowly so as not to be hurt, but fail and fall faster and deeper.
We try to hold back some part of ourselves, but find ourselves revealing so much so readily.
We try to resist our lustful urges to cultivate something more meaningful, but falter and succumb so easily.
In everything we try we fail, but the thing in which we fail most is in failing.
For in the end our failures are rewarded with a success greater than we'd dared to expect.
We care deeply and relish doing so.
We fall deeply and enjoy the decent.
We reveal ourselves and find not fear or rejection but acceptance.
We give way to our carnal desires and bask in our exploration of one another.
We share moments more meaningful and precious than we could have imagined.
It is an inescapable paradox that binds us.
We are lost somewhere along the curved line where Yin gives way to Yang.
