Pre-Season Round-up: Nothing on the Transfer Front
The squad will report back for pre-season training on June 23 when preparations for the big kick off will begin in earnest.
Whether top scorer David MacRae will be there or not is yet to be officially confirmed. The Scotland semi-pro internationalist recently went public on his desire to move on this summer and has been linked with moves to Elgin City, Buckie Thistle and latterly Ross County. The offer of a new contract from Nairn is also still on the table but the former Inverness CT man is currently on
Utility man Mo MacMillan, who joined on a short-term deal at the end of last season, has been invited to join the side for pre-season training after being released to play amateur football over the summer break.
Question marks still remain over the future of Scott Kellacher. The striker spent the second half of last season on loan at Elgin City but failed to win a permanent move to Borough Briggs and has returned to Station Park. He remains on the transfer list.
Contrary to various press reports, Darren Shallicker will not be leaving for Elgin. Chairman Peter Mackintosh went on the record last week to dismiss stories which had earlier appeared on local teletext.
As far as pre-season friendlies go, Livingston have announced that they will come to Station Park for the second year in a row on July 10. Despite being in discussions with several other sides regarding friendlies, the club have nothing more concrete to report at this time.
