NAINBY WEB
Nainby Web has been created by Andrew Nainby.
I was born in Woolwich, Kent in 1985. I was educated at Collyer's Grammar School, Horsham and at Fitzwilliam and Homerton Colleges, Cambridge. I am married to Joy; we have three daughters, Natasha, Emma and Rebecca, and we live in Bungay, Suffolk.
The most important thing in my life is my relationship with Jesus Christ. I believe the Biblical teaching that everyone has fallen short of God's perfect standard and deserves his judgement. I also believe that God so loves everyone that He allowed His only Son, Jesus, to be crucified to pay the penalty for our sins. I believe that Christ rose from the dead and that anyone who turns away from their sins and puts their trust in Him can enjoy fullness of life for ever.
I am a member of Hillside Church in Bungay, where I am part of the worship team. There is absolutely nothing that compares with the thrill of being in God's presence in worship - not even Chelsea beating Manchester United 5-0!
I am a civil servant in the Office of Government Commerce, where, as an Assistant Director in the Information Technology Directorate, I am responsible for programmes of work on ICT Skills and on Economic and Monetary Union. Earlier in my career I worked for the Central Computer and Telecommunications Agency as a computer programmer, a systems analyst, a project manager, a business manager, an account manager, a policy adviser and a resource manager.
I enjoy watching most sports, and follow Chelsea and Cambridge United football clubs. My hobbies include genealogy, croquet, tennis, badminton, crossword puzzles, nonograms and reading. My musical tastes embrace such diverse styles as Iona, After the Fire, Delirious, Vaughan Williams and Handel.
