The one good thing about his Juunishi form --- if Yuki had to say something good about it --- was the change in perspective.  Ordinary things were seen in a different light, were strangely beautiful.

 “Take lettuce, for example.”  The mouse tapped a paw against the colander.  “It’s just lettuce, but seen up close it’s rather pretty... Deep and green, like a secret forest.”

Tohru peered into the colander.  Her lashes were spun gold in the morning sun.  “You’re right, Yuki-kun, it is beautiful.”

 “Loveliest thing in the world,” the mouse murmured, but he wasn’t talking about lettuce anymore.
