Austin then chugged beers in all four corners and that was it. --Did anyone else hear JR give away the No Way Out main-event before the Angle/Austin match? --ProWrestling.com reports that right around the time that Scorpion King gets released, Goldust will be involved in a feud with its star, The Rock. This will all go down in April as the movie is scheduled to be released in May. We'll continue seeing those cryptic Goldust promos leading up to that feud. --Dave Meltzer surmises that the "Desire" vignette last night and the flash of the nWo in between was used to get the casual fans into thinking that most of the newer generation starrs would indeed show up soon. --If you couldn't guess, the WWF is going with the angle that the nWo killed off the old-WCW and will be brought in to kill the Fed. If you think about it, it's a legitimate threat by McMahon in probably the biggest shoot angle of all time because it actually happened. Especially when you heard Bradshaw's definition of the nWo and its members last night on Raw. ***There's an early spoiler for SmackDown! in the newsletter's spoiler section on Ric Flair's "decision". --Word has it from Slam! Wrestling that the Undertaker will be the first WWF star to "jump ship" and join the nWo once the angle gets rolling. --Slam! also reports that The Outsiders will be winning the tag titles off of whomever are the champs at that time at WrestleMania. Most likely Tazz & Spike. --Was Angle/Austin last night great or what? 12 minutes of greatness. By the way, word around the campfire says we should enjoy main events like that and great workrate as once the nWo starts rolling there'll be, you guessed it, screwjob finishes and run-ins. --Today is Hardcore Holly's birthday. However, more importantly in the words of The Emperor, as stated in The WWF Manual: "Rule 1: The Boss is always right. Rule 2: If The Boss is ever wrong, refer to Rule 1." Ric Flair apparently hasn't read The WWF Manual and has committed a mortal sin and violated Rule 1, a transgression that can't be overlooked. He has caused The Emperor to go further to The Dark Side (if that's possible) and resurrect The NWO. May G-d have mercy on all our souls. With The NWO we will get Big Lazy, Mr. 90 Proof, and Old Baldy, with Pumped Up Papa in the wings, and possibly his brother, The Gremlin Faced Dog. The NWO saved WCW, but at a tremendous price. They eventually killed it; a long, slow lingering death. Big Lazy brings his own personal work ethic ... none. We know what Mr. 90 Proof brings. Old Baldy brings, well ... Old Baldy. Pumped Up Papa brings the greatest body modern medicine could create. The Gremlin Faced Dog brings his bowl and collar, and hopefully he has been paper trained since last he uglied up the place. The NWO brings the happiest, most cooperative locker room ever seen ... Not! Unless things have changed (Yeah, and Bin Laden has become a Monk), they will bring "The I don't Job to Anyone," and "I do my own Booking," attitudes. As Dirtbag Doophus Page (excuse me while I puke) might say, "It's not a good thing, it's a bad thing," or is it? The Emperor is bringing The NWO in to try to boost ratings. When they arrived in WCW, they had that short term effect. Problem was that Good Old Eric didn't know when it was time to put The NWO out of it's misery. It grew (like the cancer The Emperor says it is) and grew and grew. It went from an "elite" (Elite in this context meaning, "We are running the show") group, to a bloated load of equine droppings, with more Jobbers than seen at a Brooklyn Brawler Family Picnic. If The Emperor can control his creation (does the name Dr. Frankenstein ring a bell), it can help things. If he allows it to become the monster it can easily become, or to push back everyone who has broken their left testicle for The WWF, it will backfire. If that happens, we may see a self fulfilling prophecy: The death of The WWF. They helped kill WCW and as many death row inmates will tell you, they can only inject you once, no matter how many you kill. Will The NWO be a good thing? We will find out over the next couple of months. If it starts to look like WCW II, I have a loaded needle ready should The Emperor need it in a hurry. In my last Article I alluded to Jazz not quite being a beauty queen. Several people E-mailed me and whole hearted agreed. I did get one E- mail saying I was wrong and she is not that ugly. Having mulled it over, I thought I might let you decide and therefore I offer you the chance to complete the following sentence: Jazz is so ugly ............. Creativity is encouraged.
