A lot can happen between now and March 17th, but one thing is for sure, Jericho wouldn't be lying if he told people that he's scheduled for teh main event at WrestleMania. Kidding aside, current plans do have Jericho keeping his title past the next PPV and heading into the main event at the Dome in Toronto, Chris Jericho's home country. Many backstage are preparing for the returns of all three. --Bob Ryder has reported that both Scott Hall and Kevin Nash have been flown into New York this morning to talk with WWF officials and Vince McMahon to go over the nWo storyline and how they'll be introduced. No word on when Hogan will have the same type of meeting but it's expected to happen over the weekend. The latest is that the three could debut as early as this Monday on Raw or the following week. The plan is to have them debut on Raw in order to quell SmackDown! spoilers. --1wrestling also reports that Lita and the Hardy Boyz were backstage at RAW on Monday, but were not used due to the writing team having nothing for them to work with. Currently the WWF is running about 22 house shows per month, but once the split occurs the WWF will be running somewhere in the range of 30 per month, some most likely even to take place on the night of TV tapings (by the group that isn't featured on those TV tapings). The plan at one stage was to have the schedule as follows: *Saturday house show (WWF #1) *Sunday house show (WWF#1) *Monday RAW (WWF #1) *Tuesday house show (WWF#1) *Tuesday Smackdown (WWF#2) *Wednesday house show (WWF#2) *Tuesday Smackdown (WWF #2) *Friday house show (WWF#2) --That was a tentative plan as of a few weeks ago, but as we know things always change. When the split occurs after WrestleMania, new talent will be added to the roster and several developmental talents will also be brought up uncluding D'Lo Brown and Bull Buchanan. As seen on Smackdown, Vince McMahon is expected to bring in the nWo within the next few weeks, most likely at No Way Out. --At WrestleMania.com, it lists Triple H vs. Chris Jericho as the show's main event, although as we know Y2J will face the winner of this RAW's main event of Steve Austin vs. Kurt Angle, at No Way Out, so this does not mean that Jericho will definately be the champion by WrestleMania, although many believe there is a good chance that will happen anyway considering this years 'Mania is in Jericho's homeland of Canada. ===================================================================== Comment//============================================================ Live Effects - By Rishi "The Ups and Downs" Man it's been hard trying to keep up with this newsletter. Things have been real busy with school and all but I'm back now to try and entertain you with some of my opinions on the world of pro- wrestling. To be honest I have not been too into it lately, the product seems a little flat. Don't get me wrong, The Royal Rumble was fantastic but the shows just aren't keeping my interest. I feel they can do so much more with some workers. Like what happened to RVD? They were grooming him to become something huge. At least they're giving Tazz some more credibility, it's about time. But they got guys like Raven, Justin Credible, Kidman and Chavo on the waiting list and who do they bring back?? The Bossman and Goldust. What's up with that? And what the hell happened to DDP? I know it probably won't happen, but I would love to see Jericho/HHH at Wrestlemania. They mesh so well together in the ring and the story line would be perfect, it's like their old feud re-hashed with both of them in switched places. It would also give Jericho much needed credibility. I know if this is the case, HHH would most probably win the title, but you know what? I'd have Jericho win, put a swerve on everyone and have HHH take th belt the next PPV or even the next night in some fashion. HHH could then even work a feud with Kurt Angle with Stephanie in some way like they did years ago. Now I don't know if anyone else notices, but something on WWF TV is discusting about RVD(maybe that's why he's been put on hold). I remember my friend telling me a few months ago about how RVD has a sweaty ass. He said it was so gross that he could barely watch the match. I never noticed it until I looked for it and IT IS GROSS. It's right in his Jock area, it espeially show up on white so whenever RVD wears black tights I let out a sigh or relief. It's just nasty looking it goes from liek the back to the front. Anyway, that's enough of that, I'm getting sick. Just wondering if any of you noticed it. I really want to see something happen with Lance Storm already. Give the man something. He got punked out by the Godfather in like.0002 seconds,what is that? Meanwhile, what's going on with Cristian. They also brought Val Venis back with the old Porn Star gimmick. Now I thought they did that because the fans would be amused and he would be a face but then they have him piss off Austin and get beat up by him. What's up with that? I wouldn't mind seeing all these guys form some sort of Canadian faction, just put Jericho as the leader and maybve add Test. I can totaly see this happening after Wrestlemania. They can even feud with Benoit, showing that not all Canadians are evil:) So now they're bringing the nWo back eh? Well I think it would be fun for like the first two weeks but if they're going to re-hash this whole thing(which is already beyond stale) they better have a GOOD long-term plan or else it can blow up in their faces just like the Invasion angle.
