The question is: Who's next to challenge Y2J? This Thursday, we'll get one step closer to that answer! In a pair of qualifying No. 1 contender's matches, Stone Cold Steve Austin will face Booker T, and The Rock will battle Kurt Angle. The winners of both of these matches will face each other on RAW to find out who will challenge Jericho for the Undisputed Federation Championship at No Way Out! Also, this past Monday on RAW, Mr. McMahon told Ric Flair that "he would going to do something that even he would regret." What in the world was he talking about? The website in question, WWADownunder.com, has apparently no official connection to WWA. Plans are still being finalized for the 2/24 PPV. --Bill Simmons, a long time wrestling fan and sports writer for ESPN.com has written a pretty hot article on the current state of the WWF. to read it, click http://espn.go.com/page2/s/simmons/020122.html --Bob Ryder reports that there's new promotion WEW (Women's Extreme Wrestling) that has plans for a PPV to air world wide on February 22nd from the Electric Factory in Philadelphia, PA. According to WEW's press release, they are dubbign the show as "an entertainment alternative to any form of professional wrestling that has ever existed." Their release also dictates that "WEW combines wild enthusiasm and excitement of today's contemporary styled professional wrestling with all its stunts and characters and young, vivacious women for true ultimate audience intoxication." There's also an age restriction on the PPV (age 21 or older) which suggests that risque activities are taking place on the show. --Apparently, XWF officials are happy for Curt Hennig that the WWF has signed him on. Everyone believes that it's positive for his career and that he'd be welcomed back at any time.
