On the last show, contestants were taken to PPV's and TV tapings whenever Snow went on the road to work. You never know. --Also, staying with Jericho, last night he competed in a charity Hockey Game at Madison Square Gardens. Before the game he took the time out to win the fastest skater competition with a time of 17 seconds around the rink. During the game, he picked fights with many NY Rangers as well as his own father Ted Irvine who was a former NHL'r. The crowd was said to be very entertained by his showing according to David Brandwein via 1wrestling. --DDP was featured in he Chattanooga Times to hep promote himself as a motivational speaker and the WWF house show last night in the city. This time, she appeared on a panel of movie reviewers on a show called "Hot Ticket". --Bob Ryder reports that Goldberg threw his caddie into the drink (or water hazard) at the end of his final round at the Bob Hope classic yesterday. He also used his club as a pool cue ala Happy Gilmore and broke clubs over his knee as well after bad shots. The incidents got a lot of mainstream media coverage and airplay. It was all scripted by the way. --Big Vito LaGrasso appeared on the No Holds Barred radio show and amoung other things declared 2002 his year as he's in the best shape of his life. By Ted Cabata Well I am back again, this time making my predictions for an event that is always unpredictable. I love the Rumble's and I'm hoping I can get my stuff done so I can sit back and watch the web-cast but we'll see. I just hope this event has more surprises then Vengeance, but anyway here are my picks. Owner Vs Owner Vince McMahon VS Ric Flair I think this match should be pretty fun, until it becomes run in city. I expect this match to be anything but clean and I expect to see the Boss Man at least getting involved. Could we see Kevin Nash? Or will he be saved for the Rumble or RAW? Either way I think Vince needs to win this one so that he has a reason to keep mocking Flair, which will hopefully lead to the split. PICK: Vince Women's Title match: Trish Stratus Vs Jazz Once again the point of the show where I go to the bathroom. It'll only take a minute and I'll be back in time to see the ending and Trish standing in the ring alone, grumbling about how she was cheated. PICK: Jazz Tag Team Title match Dudleyz Vs Spike/Tazz I can't see the Dudleyz losing. They are the only legitimate tag team the WWF has now. Even the APA doesn't seem to have the pull they used to. I think for a while the Dudleyz are going to just squash everyone and carry the titles, randomly being upset only to win the belts right back. But on the bright side at least Tazz finally got some gold! PICK: the Dudley Boyz IC Title Match: Edge Vs William Regal I would think the WWF would now want to get Edge over as IC champ and let him hold the belt for a while. Well somehow I think poor Edge will be squashed like RVD and Jericho once Hall, Nash, and Hogan show up. I picked Regal last time so I'm sticking with it. I think that now that he's healed he gets the belt. PICK: William Regal WWF Title Match: Chris Jericho Vs The Rock The way they have built this up on TV, I really want to pick Jericho to retain. But then again how many more times can Rock/Jericho go at it? Anything can happen here, but since I didn't pick him last time I'll go with my gut and put Jericho over. PICK: Chris Jericho 30 man Royal Rumble I don't know how to pick this and I'm guessing no one will win. I've read the spoilers and what not, but I believe that it'll come down to Undertaker, Angle, Austin, and Triple H. Maybe all 4 go over at the same time? I think that at least two people are going to be eliminated at the same time (Austin/Triple H) most likely leaving everyone wondering who the hell won? This would a great time to have Nash and Hall interfere and throw the remaining wrestlers over, but we'll have to wait and see. If I have to pick anyone right now I'd go with Triple H just because of the hype around him. PICK: Triple H Comments? Predictions?
