Unknown Other Off-air notes: *Triple H of course got the loudest response of the night. It was even louder than it seemed on TV with his music blaring. *When Raw's camera's went off, Angle got to his feet still woozy and went for the mic. He said that he had another annoucement to make and that he was going to win the Royal Rumble. He then left up the ramp to a rather huge "You Suck!" chant from the New York faithful. -The Royal Rumble card is continuing to shape up. So far we have two confirmed matches which are Rock vs. Jericho for the WWF title and Flair vs. Vince (stipulation to come, probably on SmackDown!). The only confirmed Rumble participants thus far are Triple H, Austin, Angle and the Undertaker. Booker T and RVD will probably be the other main two to be added into the match. Two or three more matches are expected to be added to that card, the most likely of them being Edge vs. Regal for the IC title and Trish vs. Jazz for the Women's title. -Long time serving road agents Pat Patterson and Jack Lanza will be retiring from the WWF at the end of this year. Patterson and Lanza occassionly help out with booking, but usually co-ordinate with talent in relation to the structure and spots in their matches. -Tickets for WWF Axxess will go on sale on February 9 at 10am. The event will be running in Toronto this year, just a few days prior and up to WrestleMania X-8. -According to Dave Scherer and 1Wrestling, a fan's sign last night that said "Nash Fears House Shows" was pulled by security. -Some backstage notes from Raw according to Scherer: *Storm vs. Edge was cut due to time restraints. *Scherer says that Nash was NOT backstage at MSG last night despite rumors stating so. He does say that he could appear on TV at any time. *RVD's mysterious black eye on Raw last night was believed to have been received from Test during house shows on the weekend. Weird seeing RVD hurt for a change. *Last night's show was deemed a big success by anyone Scherer talked to last night. Earlier, Kevin Nash was being advertised for the same show, but then was removed from the ad after the WWA officials announced that it was a miscommunication between the WWA and InDemand. However, it looks as if this new ad too seems be a result of miscommunication between the WWA and InDemand, since Scott Steiner hasn't yet officially signed with the WWA. -Dave Meltzer reports that the Juventud Guerrera vs. Psicosis match on the WWA PPV on Sunday night was originally supposed to go 15 minutes long, but 5 minutes into the match the production crew told the referee to finish the match, hence why the match looked too rushed and some spots were missed.
