"The book is filled with distortions, misstatements, and unjustified slurs that attempt to destroy the reputation of my family and me, and undermine the memory of Owen," said Martha Hart in a press release. "I have no choice but to deliver a formal libel notice. If necessary, we will take further legal action to correct these distortions and vindicate our reputation." Other notes: *The crowd was distracted from the finish of the Tajiri/Crash match by MR. T coming through the crowd. *Lawler got a huge ovation during the first commercial break, bigger than the one when people first saw him. A big "Jerry" chant was done. *When the show went off the air, Flair simply walked backstage and Austin continued to drink beers and milk his babyface return. -David Flair was backstage at Raw last night. -Test vs. Scotty 2 Hotty was originally booked for RAW after that angle on the PPV where Test took Scotty's place in the immunity battle royal, but the match was cut due to time constraints. -There is no word on when HHH will return but it is expected within the next few weeks. -Dave Meltzer reports that we can expect Mick Foley to apear from time to time but he has been officially written off WWF programming. Meltzer says that Foley and McMahon are on better terms after blowing up a couple weeks ago about his character development. We saw that last night with the send off that he got last ngiht. Something that never usually happens. -Ohio Valley TV tapings that usually take place on Wednesday's will not this week due to the Thanksgiving holiday in the United States. -There is already talk that Ric Flair might battle Vince McMahon at WrestleMania and that Austin against Triple H or a Triple Threat match including The Rock could be the main event the WWF is working towards. -The WWFE float at the 75th annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in NYC's theme will be Get R.E.A.L. That's the the name of the WWF's educational program for high school students. R.E.A.L. stands for Respect, Education, Achievement and Leadership. Vince & Linda McMahon will be on the flaot alongside their WWF Superstars. -THQ Inc. & JAKKS Pacific sent a press release announced that the WWFE licenced "WWF SmackDown! Just Bring It," for the PS2 game console will be packed with thousands of moves, Titan Tron entrances and exclusive play-by-play commentary with Tazz and Michael Cole. Chris Jericho is going to be the spokesperson for the release with commercials as well. -Speaking of Raw. The WWF are looking to bend toward the "attitude" again with more colorful language and racy dialogue. You saw that last night with the kissing of asses, Rock dropping the A-bomb, Lawler' smore sexual commentary, and Austin's beer guzzling again. With Alliance members expected to do more "unflattering" deeds to get their jobs back, things will only get more...well attitudinal. -Early speculation for Vengeance has Triple H refereeing a match between Kurt Angle and Steve Austin and he turning on Austin for what happened in the match where he split his quad and Austin blaming him for the loss afterword. -By the way, Tazz fans should be happy, he got the main event last night. Way to go Tazz! Wait, the serious note on Tazz. He is expected to retain his job as SmackDown! commentator and Jerry Lawler exclusively on Raw. -Raw last night in Charlotte, N.C. drew 9.606 paid for $332,470 in ticket revenue, plus $64,575 in merchandise sales. -Survivor Series Sunday night in Greensboro, N.C. drew 8.030 paid (9,150 overall) for $503,725 in ticket revenue. At the Coliseum, the whole upper deck above the camera facing the ring was covered with a black curtain, so much of the arena was cut off. -RVD may have suffered a concussion and could be out for a week or two as a result of it. Last night, he was literally carried out after his match with the Dudley's. He was probably concussed when his *****frog splash resulted in him going head first in the table. And then, furthered when the first table spot was unsuccessful. -Chris Jericho may have suffered a leg sprain last night but more will be in as it comes. -Triple H was backstage at RAW, and was apparently giving ideas on the new creative direction of the WWF. -Not only was Mr. T in the front row, but he was also backstage during moments of RAW. He was received well by the wrestlers, and he's still a big wrestling fan. -Pete DiNicola, the new WWF top excecutive who took over after Stu Snyder resigned, was also backstage at RAW last night.
