Sid is the announced official for a match between Kurrgan and Pierre Carl Ouelette on December 30th at the Molson Centre. The show, being promoted by Jacques Rougeau, Jr. will also feature Earthquake, King Kong Bundy, Hacksaw Duggan, and a reuniting of the Rougeau brothers, as Jacques Jr., Raymond, and Armand team up for a six-man match against three of their students. The show wasn't sold out due to half the bleachers being blacked out. -Some backstage notes from Raw last night according to Dave Scherer: *Kanyon suffered some sort of knee injury last night at the end of his dark match with Randy Orton. The fear is that he blew it out. If that's the case, we may not see Kanyon for moths now. Stay tuned for a report once he's examined by Doctors. *Apparently, Rob Van Dam was surprised that he was booked to job clean to Edge last night. As a result, his stature in the WWF may be in question. Many have noted that Paul Heyman did his best to put RVD over (more than usual) and hardly mentioned Edge at all during the opening bout between the two. RVD's push may have been put on hold for the time being. More on this as it comes in. *Brock Lesnar impressed a lot of wrestlers backstage last night during his OVW dark match. Many feel that he has star potential in the ring down the line. Many feel his tag partner Shelton Benjamin is on his way too. -The Atlanta Journal-Constitution features an article discussing wrestling books, focused primarily on Kurt Angle, Mick Foley, and The Rock. WWFE Superstars Kurt Angle, honorary chairman of "Smackdown Your Vote!", and Bradshaw, will underscore the importance of participatory politics at the noontime rally at the university's Belknap campus, the final stop on the 2001 Smackdown Your Vote! tour. Voter registration forms will be available to anyone over the age of 18. Registration tables will also be set up at Freedom Hall tonight at the live broadcast of ``WWF Raw.'' "Democracy is built on a simple act: voting," said Angle, an Olympic gold medallist. "For our democracy to remain strong, we need to encourage young people to participate through voting. This is the perfect time to send the message to the world that democracy is stronger than ever in the U.S.A., despite the efforts of those who would seek to undermine it.'' "Casting your vote is a way every American can send a loud and clear message to the enemies of democracy," Bradshaw said. Also this fall, the campaign has followed Kurt Angle's promotional tour for his just-released autobiography, ``It's True! It's True!'' "I was lazy before I met Bess" (his fiancé) said The Big Show. "But now I'm really exercising! When I'm at home I make love every day - it's the greatest fitness regime." "I've been a slob all of my life" admitted Show. "But Bess has retrained me. She knew how to do it straight away, she hit me in my stomach." (not literally). "If I don't obey the house rules and just slob out she won't cook me any of her fantastic meals. It's back to peanut butter sandwiches and I don't want that." When asked how he met Bess, Big Show added "It was love at first sight - she was the most beautiful women I had ever seen. It hit me like a punch in the mouth. I knew instantly from the bottom of my heart we were meant for each other. That night I told her to go home and pack a bag -she was on the road with me for eight straight months" Big Show was then asked how he got started in professional wrestling. "I played basketball at school, but I always fancied wrestling. I met Hulk Hogan at a basketball game in Chicago five years ago and he told me: 'you've got a dollar sign on your head and you don't even know it'....shortly after that I signed as a pro wrestler and joined the WWF three years later."
