To quote the article: "Even the World Wrestling Federation has shown a new sensitivity, decking its performances with American flags and removing a theme song called "Bodies." The show posted a 7 share. The 4.5 rating is the lowest the show has drawn since the June 18 edition drew 4.2 rating. The show began with a 3.9 opening quarter hour and peaked at 5.0 during the nine minute overrun during the Rock vs. Rob Van Dam main event match. Other ratings: Heat drew a 1.4 rating during its live airing, and a 0.6 during its replay later that night. The live show rating was equal the previous week's rating. Excess drew a 0.8 rating on Saturday, up 0.1 from the week before. Tough Enough posted a 1.6 rating on Sept. 20 ====================================================================== News from the WWF//=================================================== -Due to recent tragedies, the WWF will soon be changing the name of WWF RAW is WAR to just WWF RAW. The December Armageddon PPV will be given an entirely new name. One male and one female will be selected as winners of World Wrestling Federation contracts when the live season finale of WWF Tough Enough airs on Thursday, September 27, on MTV (10:00pm - 11:00pm EST). The season finale will be broadcast live from WWF New York in Times Square. Based on the success of the first season, World Wrestling Federation Entertainment and MTV Productions today announced that the show has been renewed for a second season. WWF Tough Enough 2 will begin production this fall and will air on MTV in early 2002. An open casting call is being held through October 5. Information and rules for submitting an application and video are available on www.wwftoughenough.com. "WWF Tough Enough received great reviews right from the start. It consistently delivered the teen audience and it was one of the highest rated regularly scheduled programs on cable every Thursday night,'' said Stuart Snyder, President and COO of WWFE. ``As an added bonus, viewers of WWF Tough Enough, who were unfamiliar with our traditional programming, gained an insightful perspective of the World Wrestling Federation brand of entertainment.''
