RVD and Rock had a great match and seemed to have great chemistry together in the ring. That's a plus for Rob for sure. That man is on the rise. He already has his own t-shirt which is unprecidented for the amount of time he's been in. Amazing. His rise could come faster than Angle's did believe it or not. LOVE THE NEWSLETTER? DirecTV accounts for 15% of WWF pay-per-view buys. After last night's Unforgiven pay-per-view, it seems as if the WWF will attempt to reach to an agreement with DirecTV and resolve the current situation. He says of Stephanie McMahon..."Stephanie's voice is, well, annoying. The shrieks that come from her vocal cords can make anyone in his or her right mind run for the nearest set of earplugs. If Stephanie wants to be involved in the WWF, let her focus on her writing duties and keep her off camera. Our ears will be the better for it." When Gomez talked about the MECW-Gary Stoud controversy, Buff says that he received two phone calls asking him about he opinions on this news item. Buff claimed not to know anything, but what he's read on the internet and heard from Dick Gomez. Buff is careful to start throwing rumors around because, he claims if you listen to internet rumors, Buff is: gay, a born again Christian, and his mom got him fired from the WWF. -Buff feels like he was fired from the WWF because he was the first wave of WCW guys coming in. He feels that the WWF guys weren't jealous, but felt a little threatened. Things were happening so fast that no one on either side had a chance to get accustomed to the change. Before the AOL/Time Warner owned WCW went under, Buff was trying to help save it for over a year and a half. He felt that he had backstage heat from WCW because he voiced his opinions, and that heat followed him to the WWF locker room. Buff felt that the internet has picked him as a scapegoat for being honest during the end of WCW while he feels almost all of the wrestlers in that locker room were voicing their opinions as well. -Buff also believes that internet reporting isn't always accurate. -Buff Bagwell informed us that 2 weeks ago, the WWF returned his signature hat. He also claims that it was in his release from that the "WWF will send the Buff Bagwell hat back." He thought the whole situation was "pathetically stupid". He also feels that the WWF almost tried to get into a pissing match with him over "Who will get the Buff Bagwell hat". He left the hat in a box with the WWF ring attendants so he didn't have to carry it around with him all the time. When he got released in Atlanta, the first thing on his mind wasn't "You know what? I gotta go get my hat". -Buff claims that he doesn't work for MECW anymore because John Collins still owed him money. -Buff talks about his fight with Shane Helms. They were at the WWF training facility with a lot of other WCW wrestlers. They were all hanging out in the ring busting on each other. The talk between he and Helms got heated and Buff ended up smacking Shane. While he was walking away Helms nailed him with a frozen water bottle in the back of the head. Buff needed stitches from the blow and to keep the heat off the WCW guys, he lied to WWF management and said he fell. He felt that it was a test that he thinks he passed. He was then added to a card in Spokane where he wrestled Booker T and they had a hell of a match. The next night on RAW in Tacoma they couldn't even lock up correctly. Buff really didn't know what went wrong in that match. Buff wrestled Booker T a thousand times and he recognized that the match was horrible. He doesn't understand why WWF management wouldn't wait another week to put them together in Atlanta, former home base of WCW. -Buff had so much heat on him during those days that he couldn't even pay attention to the heat put on other WCW guys like DDP. He feels like a lot of guys don't realize that he has paid dues to be where he is. He once wrestled at the Sparkle Skating Rink in front of 10 people as Fabian. Or as the Handsome Stranger in Global, and people forget that he actually broke his neck in the wrestling ring on national TV. Going back to the final days of WCW, Bagwell remembers arguing with Vince Russo over doing a job to Big Vito. Buff felt that he needed the win because he was going against Kanyon on the upcoming PPV, a PPV that Vito wasn't even on. Russo said he wanted to shock the people on that night's Nitro. Bagwell responded, "If you want to shock them, have Vito beat Goldberg or Sting." -Buff talks about how it felt to go from the heights of popularity during the NWO days, when WCW could do no wrong, to all of a sudden everything they did was wrong. It was very frustrating for the guys who went on that ride and Buff always wanted Bischoff to return to create that magic again. -Sting was the first guy in WCW to help out Bagwell when he first started out. Buff was only 20 when he got to WCW and the closest guy to his age was Brian Pillman who was 27. Most of the established stars didn't have time for this 20 year old kid. After Sting started talking him up to the other guys, they started accepting Buff more. Also, as far as his ring moves, Sting helped out a lot. Buff still talks to Sting once a month and he doesn't feel like Sting will ever return to the business. Buff agrees that Sting is set up financially, and now has piece of mind. Buff would like to see Sting return. -Buff's been working with Vince Russo's WWA. He was just in Australia to promote it. He was affected by the tragedy when in Australia, flights were cancelled. Then the guys were afraid to fly. He was delayed there for 5 days. -Buff goes over the Steve Corino story at the ECW Arena in Philly. Sandman went up to Buff and told him to put over Corino. To which Buff said, "Can you point him out because I don't know who he is." After he was introduced to Corino, Buff went on to ask him about his finish. John Collins overheard them talking asking Buff why he was asking what Steve's finish would be. Collins then told Bagwell that he wasn't doing the job for Corino despite what Sandman told him. Bagwell claims that Collins changed the finished, but he got the heat for it. Corino then didn't want to do the job because he said, according to Buff, "I am a champion in Japan". Buff doesn't understand why Corino doesn't get any heat for a statement like that to which, Buff would get tons if he made the same statement. Buff then told Tod Gordon to put them against different people, to which Corino responded "How about we do a DQ?". Buff then stated "Do you know who you are dealing with?" -Buff likes Hulk Hogan because he was always business. He feels like he got a bad name because he would try to protect himself and his character, just like Buff tries to do. He put Hogan over big time. ====================================================================== Remember...=========================================================== -Remember that if you've missed any TV Shows, PPV's or more?
